The user documentation page states "This document is written for firmware version 0.1.37" - seems mostly up to date to me. What do you think is missing?
haven't seen that, thanks!

In the past I read discussions on the github page about button combinations that I didn't find in the documentation.

Re: Westlicht PER|FORMER Sequencer (DIY)

does someone know how complete the online documentation is? I've got the feeling, that a lot of newly added functions aren't included.

looks very nice. Thats a very interesting feature set for 8? hp. Is the index a cv input of a VCA for dynamic FM? How does the octave button work? rotating behaviour?

126hp are on the horizon. Around december.
Yes! I'll produce a small test run of 126HP cases in Dec 2020 and follow up with more in Feb/Mar 2021. Pricing on these is TBC however I imagine they will be around AUD$200 more expensive than the 104HP version.

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

Works like a charm now. I've made 2h of 14 track multichannel recording in Reaper at the highest settings and didn't have any dropout. Turns out it's really the ventilator which is a pretty old school vintage model. It seems to do some stuff with the power. The es-9 never was the problem. Thanks for...

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

I think this may be a problem with Windows turning off the USB ports to save power. There are numerous reports & solutions for this, try a search for Windows turning off USB ports & try the solutions. thanks! But is that also the case in desktop PCs? I thought these power saving things are only pre...

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

In Reaper's audio device settings, do you have "audio system" set to ASIO and "ASIO driver" set to Expert Sleepers USB? Also you'll have to set the available inputs and outputs to 1-16 in the drop-down menus. That's the only way I was able to get it to work right with Reaper. Yes, The ASIO driver i...

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

hi, I'm a very happy customer of the es-9. But now I've got a problem which isn't necessarily a fault of the interface, but I'm not sure. I got a 12 Channel setup in reaper on windows 10. When I "record arm" all the channels for input level metering everything works as it should (tested many hours)...

What function is the S&H serving here? Seems like you'd get random gates with just noise into the comparator.
forgot to say that the gates should be synced to the 16th or whatever clock

Re: Joranalogue COMPARE 2 - Dual Window Comparator

I got some nice results with the compare 2 with self patching: Was looking to find a way to have "rare random gates" from a 16th clock setting up a probability patch. Noise -> S&H -> Compare. It should fire very rarely, so the window size of the C2 is very small. but because the window is so small t...

Re: Today my small discovery was...

A nice way of using wavefolders differently: For Leads I sometimes need a 2nd Osc at a (much) higher frequency to do subtle phasemodulation or filterFM of the main osc or just directly mix it into the sound. Usually I sync the modulator with the mainOSC. But the higher the modOSCs frequency the smal...

Re: Joranalogue COMPARE 2 - Dual Window Comparator

if you s&h any input (cv and actual "input") with some kind of clock before feeding it into the c2 then each output should be also synced. simplified example: LFO1 -> S&H1 -> Compare A LFO2 -> S&H2 -> Compare B both S&H should be triggered by a clock-related sequence. change the frequency and shape ...

is there a counter in eurorack?

or better jet a counter -> comparator combination? with every trigger on the "count" input the output voltage of the counter should increase by a settable or even CVable amount. A reset input sets the output voltage to zero. The comparator would spit out a gate as soon as the output voltage reaches ...
