Re: Looking for some free software that produces visuals that responds to live sound

Since your query was tangentially aligned with some of my own needs, but excludes more involved solutions like various node based visual programming tools or full fledged VJ software suits, I went on a quick google search that ended in a sea of half baked solutions, freemium online templated service...

Re: Need Help: LXR Drum Machine CC List

Not sure how much more absolutely comprehensive can you get than the midi specs of both firmwares. They are different implementations, so check the one of the firmware you are using. Re: New Dreadbox Chromatic Modules just showed up on MG

Does anyone know what kind of filter circuit the Eudeimonia (Mixer/Filter/VCA) uses? or is there some clean audio demo in the net? Official dreadbox videos for the vco, filter and delay have come up on their youtube page. I guess the others are coming too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X53vSXa_bp0...

What kind of psu is that? looks good. and linear

The PSU is part of the Doepfer DIY Kit, and I'm still thinking of a good use for the space in the lid.

I also started with a Doepfer DIY kit and a 16EUR toolbox (almost perfect dimensions). Modular got me into DIY and this was my first ever project in this domain (as visible by the quality of 'craftmanship'). Nevertheless I'm very happy how it turned out and how it lowered my barrier of entry. It's n...

Looking good, but you could consider that you might not really need the 'outs' at this stage. If I was in Barcelona, I'd visit Befaco for sure. I built my first modules from Befaco DIY kits and couldn't be happier. The passion/love for modular made me learn to solder in a heartbeat. It's so much fun...

Yamaha HS50Ms, got them back in 2006 and they've proved themselves over many times. They REALLY make your mix sound like shit since all the imperfections come out, but once fixed it'll sound majestic on anything else. That said, I don't consider them half bad to listen to either. Almost identical s...

Re: Thanks

Just a quick thanks to all the posters here. It was pretty gratifying after the time spent learning about synthesis and building my modul...

Not only it's a fantastic drum computer, but it instantly became the heart of my setup syncing wise. One note...

Why does my output meter on my interface max out in the red and clip in my headphones when I'm tracking, yet the input meter on the interface and in the track meter in the DAW is not high enough.(50% lotta headroom) Shot in the dark here, but... Is it possible you are monitoring twice the same chan...
