Re: Miasma: Function Generator (DIY PCB based on Befaco Rampage)

Hi everyone, it's been a while now the Sin Phi Miasma is realeased and multiple updated versions are out, that makes me wonder how is it even possible no one noticed the EOC2 (right channel) is not grounded therefore not working at all...!?!? I was testing it today and noticed i was just getting a w...

Re: quick question on ELEMENTS build

yeah if you're serious about diy get a hot air station, just solder the 3pins of the pots, not the 2 ground tabs so it's easier to remove them if you need to, then test the module. I dont remember how it behaves without the pots and sockets... You can check your soldering and if the ic's are getting...

So just before i start doing it on my 4 builds, can someone confirm that the reverse behavior of the attenuverters was only the left first chanel rise attenuverter? Fall seems ok on the first chanel and on second right chanel both rise and fall seems ok. Basicly just need to rewire reversed the pins...

It was literally flipping the pot in the schematic file and a bit of rerouting on the board file. Very simple fix that could be done with trace cutting on old boards. a simple verification step is to check that all 4 attenuverters have the ground pin in the same position. I didn't want to do any ma...

I did a quick update to the IO board to fix the backwards pot. Files have been updated on the site. Note I updated my KiCAD so it is in a recovered state for the IO board. No new insights on cycling issues from me. May give some of yall's fixes a try on my paperweights. Nice, thanks for the update....

I'd like to offer some feedback and hopefully you don't take offense: the "ModularParts.net" logo text is a deal breaker for me. Can the panel be reversed or is there text on the back side? :hmm: I can understand your point. You can put black tape on it or you email me and i'd be happy to make a sp...

Re: 3U TO 1U EURORACK ADAPTER

[snip] I suppose the PL format ones do not have any power adaptation functionality, i.e. the converted module still requires a normal Eurorack 16-pin connector? I would like to see a 1U to 3U adapter. Maybe an 8 or 10HP wide 3U panel that fit some 1U PL tiles. Those exist, courtesy of PulpLogic or ...

From what i understand both intellijel and pulologic follow the 1u size it's just that pulplogic doesnt have the lip. There was a thread explaining it on this forum.

I have a problem with my build ( on both channels ). They don't cycle. The timing cap only charges up to approx. 8.6V. So it never reaches the 10v reference voltage. Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks! Check your resistors near the bottom corners of the IO Pcb i had the same issue on one o...

Download Kicad it's free you will see it, but there is a longer line on the diode silkscreen on the pcb, thats the line on the diode itself.

Re: mistake fault!

The BOM is correct, theses on-off switches are for the cycle on or off at the left and right of the module. Thanks. You won't believe how long I was staring at the panel not finding those switches.. All switches are using the same image on this one from his site. http://www.sinphi.com/synths/...

Re: mistake fault!

I just noticed a mistake (?) in the BOM. There are too many switches on there. It is supposed to be 2x ON-OFF-ON and 1x (ON)-OFF-(On) right? there are also some ON-OFF switches on there.... I ordered myself some PCBs and am really looking forward to the build! Keep up the good work! The BOM is corr...

@aragorn23 & @MatrixModulator I don't see anything obvious that would indicate this behavior, but it isn't really limiting the function? I will look into it on my next build. Thanks, actualy i can't verify myself it was a build for someone, i will build another and test it myself but yeah it's work...
