Switched On appears to have a 2600 in stock possibly. No mention of the pre-order. Might be a chance for someone to snag one.
either it was never there, or someone snagged it before me. :(

TTSH vs Antonus vs KARP 2600

So I'm DYING to get an Arp 2600. I desperately want the Korg one, but who knows if and when they'll be actually releasing more? I spoke to Antonus, and they're expected delivery time now for a new one is October. I've heard the TTSH isn't super accurate :/ What do I do? I'm so impatient. And in term...

Replacement switch for Shatmat Modular Time Wizard

Hey all!

Accidentally broke the shaft off the three position switch of a Shatmat Modular Time Wizard module.

http://www.shakmatmodular.com/products/tw.html

I tried looking in the build guide but no dice. Anyone know what kind of switch it is so I can order a replacement?

Re: buchla parts north america?

a quick forum search yielding no results An efficient way to use the search function is to write a sentence like: "banana cable where to buy" for instance, like you would do on google. Or "Where to buy banana cables". No need to add in USA cause most probably wigglers looking for banana cables in E...

Sequential Circuits Drumtraks repair

Hey all, I just bought a Drumtraks and almost everything works on it... except one button! The "Select Song functions" button was jumpy and intermittent when I tried it, so when I got it home I put a dab of deoxit in it hoping it would clean it out, but now unfortunately I'm not getting anything fro...

Alright, So I found the first problem. The program card header was shorting to ground. So I unplugged it. After that, I got sound for a while out of the 208 and everything seemed somewhat functional. The reverb seemed weird and it when I turned it up all I got was what sounded like alien noises. All...

I might purchase a synthrotek 104HP travel case (the one in the pelican case). Just wanted to check the synthrotek power works with all verbos modules? Anyone have experience? I know Verbos can be finnicky with power. I'm currently using a 4ms row 40 and everything works fine. I don't want to sell i...

Can anyone offer me some advice / help? I just finished my build. Everything seems to be where it should be. I'm using Romans 211 power supply with a 12V center positive 5A supply. When I power the 211 power supply up I am getting what I should. -15V, 12V, 5V, all seem good. When I plug in the 208 ...

Would it be safe for me to unplug all the cards, and power on the 208 without any cards? And then one by one plug the cards back in? Just figured that would be an easy way to find out where the short might be.

For Card 9, when installing the DG200BA apparently you have to cut leg 7 off so the IC fits in the socket. There's a photo and description of that here: http://modularsynthesis.com/roman/buchla208v2/208spss.htm My question, is the photo taken from the top down, or from the bottom up? It may seem sil...

Some progress, and perhaps a solution to a common problem should anyone else want to confirm. I have worked on many different pieces of gear, and have noticed almost all of them that use CMOS chips have a decoupling cap across the Vdd and Vss (or ground) pins of most, if not all the CMOS chips. The...

Where did y'all source the coloured caps for the sliders? I found Mammoth has ones for the switches but can't find the slider guys anywhere! They are one and the same! Seriously. Warm the caps up (I heat mine up in a strainer over boiling water) and slide them down on top of the sliders. Thank you!
