Re: Are Multis really necessary?

+1 necessary. If you want to have any related- but- different modulations, mults + attenuversion + offset are the very easiest way to get there. A buff mult + SPO is 6hp. I'd say more necessary for a smaller system with relatively few modulation sources. Stackables are fine (and fun) but for pitch-r...

Re: Separating sources by band

Question: what do you want to do after you separate everything? Echoing what others said, but also want to mention that it sounds like you're thinking of doing something like mixing stems, which is easier if everything stays in stems. If there was another effect you were after, it wasn't quite clear...

Re: SSF Stereo Dipole filter

Hello. My stereo dipole filter has gotten a bit of a dirty pot lately. Its the "stereo freq" big knob that gives a bit of noise when its turned at around the 10 - 12 o clock mark. Any way to fix this without sending it in? Thanks Have you wiggled it a load? Just taking the pot through full travel m...

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what ICs are used in this? How does it compare to the similar Vermona or NW2S modules?

The Attack - secrets of dance music production is great for that sort of thing - very visual but reasonably deep as well.

Re: Placerholder hp for Swapping modules as an alternative to a larger system

I think it's a great idea. Aside from keeping the system from becoming overwhelming, it also encourages creative patching with a more limited set of modules, and kind of helps clarify whether the modules in boxes should stick around - if you don't put them in the rack for 6 months, off they go...

Re: "Antivocoder": does it exist ? ( a spectral "ducking" device ;) )

I believe that Oeksound Soothe2 might get you further thsn trackspacer - the ducking behaviour is a lot more controllable and probably takes you further into FX territory. I believe there's a sidechain as well?

I have a dual SV and I wouldn't post it for less than £575, probably start higher than that. There aren't many, and the resonance blends with the original sound in a really wonderful way.

Re: ADDAC701.REV2 VCO

I got one of these and took it out of my rack after about 5 minutes, the issue being that it seems to require negative voltages to reach low notes, even with the tune control and octave switch fully counter-clockwise. I'm driving things from the old Cirklon which is putting out 0V to 10V, but this ...

Hi Folks, apologies if this is been covered - anyone have experience with using this lovely filter for softer resonances? It seems that most of the demos available go for the acidy, squelchy-type resonance, and not so much focus on the subtler side of things.
