Re: THE SPACE CASE TE-2 - Eurorack / Standalone Echo + Tape Unit

Everything is slowed because of Covid, including shipping. If some portion of the Space Case production is delayed it makes perfect sense to start selling extra cases in the meantime. It's not really fair to blame COVID for this. 2.5yrs ago he was taking people's money for this, framing it up like ...

Re: Behringer TD-3 weird timing glitch, just me or anyone else?

I have never used a TD-3 and have no idea about if there is a hardware or firmware issue But I will say that Midi over USB can stink really bad, and you can have issues with one device even if everything else seems to be "fine", and I put that in quotation marks because once you fix problem 'a' othe...

Re: What's your take on the BEHRINGER MODEL D? Seen a lot for sale recently.

Have one, you get a lot for the price, not perfect feel or ergonomics but again the price. My guess is it doesn't fit in with the workflow of many who bought it, you can't just flip through presets until you find a sound you like Little bit of this Is it possible there are more people now selling t...

Re: Anyone doing "Pro" TD-3 Mods ala Devil Fish?

Word I didn't realize the full deal Devil FIsh was $1200 AUS !? Maybe I am looking for "someone else" to do it. I know there's quite a bit of soldering to add those patch points and knobs/ switches and whatnot, but I always assumed the DF mods were like $300 and the TB-303 was "worth" $2500 = $2800 ...

Re: THE SPACE CASE TE-2 - Eurorack / Standalone Echo + Tape Unit

Just being able to play the tapes back modulating the speed the start stop, the filter etc. will be fun. I don’t think I’d want to use them as delays because then, yeah you lose it all. I see what you are saying now, yes that would be very fun for sure. I'm sure you could do some serious mangling b...

Anyone doing "Pro" TD-3 Mods ala Devil Fish?

There's a DIY Thread on GS with some interesting stuff showing up, homegrown like Curious if anyone is doing these on a pro level yet? Devil FIsh made mention of doing TD-3 and Bass Bot mk1s on 5 February 2020, but nothing since Also curious what the cost is /w was to get a normal Devil Fish mod on ...

Re: THE SPACE CASE TE-2 - Eurorack / Standalone Echo + Tape Unit

I’m excited about the feedback loop, been messing with that on a few delays recently. I have a whole box of cassettes from a school library, educational things. That should make some fun sampling If you use those tapes with this device's echo on, it will ruin the recording. The echoes are literally...

Re: Bout to take the plunge...Moogerfoogers

Don't get me started on the 104-m I guess?? What would you replace it with? I had a non-midi "z" version many years ago and it was also fantastic. I just started getting into the midi stuff after having the M for a few years. Most of the time I wouldn't want things to sync up perfectly anyway. To m...

Re: Bout to take the plunge...Moogerfoogers

I think they were overpriced to start off with (though designed to last for 100yrs so that's a plus) but these discontinued prices are absolutely ridiculous. You can buy a MN skiff and then build a whole row that does more, vs 2 foogers and the CP-251. I thank Moog for crossing me over from Phatty's...

Re: Behringer Mono/Poly!

System 8 offers 8 note polyphony - extending the polyphony of the Juno 60/106 models, and the polyphony of the original Juno machines. It also reproduces the FM capabilities of the Jupiter 8 for the JP-08 plug-out, which I don't think the JP8000 offered. So the System 8 has moved things on from the...

Re: Behringer Mono/Poly!

I honestly just think behringer is doing themselves a disservice by labeling all these synths as clones over and over. Instead of giving us a point of comparison that they won't quite live up to, they should just make cool sounding synthesizers, which they have been as far as I can tell. They need ...

Re: Make Noise 0-Ctrl

with pressure points it´s very fiddly to adjust melodies and once i get it right it gets detuned after a while. probably make noise still uses the same potentiometers for all of their modules.. if not for very precise tuning (due to lacking of a quantizer or does it have one?) it doesn´t matter and...

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?

I would kill for an erbe verb 2, it would make sense since they updated other things to stereo. The only thing holding me back from getting the original one is that it's mono in. I don't think we need to turn this into yet another "is reverb ever really stereo unless you have two distinct reverb mo...

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?

I would be very interested in a stand alone touch controller. Never had too much trouble with pp, but i have clammy hands. I think a 0-coast sized controller that's euro compatible has been a no brainier since they first released the 0c. Surprised it didn't come out sooner in a mini easel arrangeme...

My main goal in buying them was to resell them to make a profit. Currently, I don't plan on buying more modules. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't need an amplifier in order to test the modules to ensure that they were working properly. Do you have a case? Based on your comments here I can n...

If you're just looking to mess around with this, not achieve something specific (which it doesn't seem like you have something really specific in mind, which is good and more fun!) I would definitely consider playing around with some logic like Min/Max and the two envelopes, which will get differing...

Re: Dave Smith hint of a new synth coming up in August

I’m thinking (and hoping) the logical next step would be a Poly version of the Pro 3, maybe a Pro 16? Rev2 style with splits and layers. Nothing much crazier than that. Would be a convenient way to update the P6/OB6 platform and add something new to the lineup. Seems like a no brainer to me. Is the...

Re: Mixing console from modules - possible?

I just use a BX-8 as a submixer and then run that into the BX-16 (or vice versa) Another configuration I've done is BX-8 master out -> Octatrack 'a' and 'b' BX-16 master out -> Octarack 'c' and ''d' inputs you can even use the OT 'cue' out to send some OT sounds back out into the submixes, then back...

Re: Does this functionality exist in a switch module?

It may be easier just to do this via a sequencer rather than a switch? Any switch you buy, you could probably get a Beatstep Pro for just a little more. You could copy the kick pattern to two drum sequences and mute them to your hearts desire! In a glance, this seems like a sequencer problem more t...
