DAO and MSV will work with the stock firmware. No ETA for the DR and SMP firmware, haven't looked at this code in about two years and need to make sure that what gets published is actually the final working version, that'll take some time.
Thanks for the info :goo:

Re: Buchla-compatible adaptations of Mutable modules

Thanks so much for coming around and putting everything back up, along with the incoming firmware. What your company is doing is really cool, and respecting Mutable Instruments / Open Source is only going to pay off. A lot of people will always decide to purchase direct from the manufacturer. This i...

Re: Grayscale Mutable clones aren’t open source anymore?

I believe that Grayscale's response was, "I'm in this to make money, not to share my designs with copycats." "I'm here to design interesting modules, not provide free module designs to cloning outfits who want to sell my designs without modification." Considering that Grayscale's business is built ...

Re: Northern Light Modular - What we are working on

The original post mentions adaptations of creative commons share alike files that are supposed to be available for others, but I do not see links or files here. Can someone be so kind as to share where these board and panels are hosted? I am interested in building all of the Mutable, 4MS and MXMXMX ...

Re: Buchla-compatible adaptations of Mutable modules

Hello,
I can't find the Github link for 1979 and these Mutable Adaptations.
The original post mentions they are creative commons and files will be shared.

Can someone be so kind as to share where these board and panels are hosted?

Re: [BUILD] T Henry SN Voice Euro SMT

Some of the errors described here are still in the BOM that's multiple years old. Should really fix the errors in your BOM's. Even if it's years later, someone may happen to acquire that pcb/panel as a trade etc. It's hard for me to understand why someone would leave these errors in for years when i...

Yes I know it's definitely far from superior hah. My original plan was to use the Razma minipower, but then went down a rabbit hole reading about grounding. Definitely open to other idea's beyond anything suggested already! Just eager to learn more really. Thanks for the helpful info's

Re: Ground question on Bananafied standalone powered box

Thanks for the comprehensive reply, lot's of good info to consider. The power consumption is really low and currently thinking meanwell rt-26b will be first attempt. In a nutshell the idea is roughly that interesting visual layouts/design inspire me and making artsy noise/modulation boxes etc that p...

Ground question on Bananafied standalone powered box

Howdy, I am currently working on some banana conversions and they will be inside of their own powered project boxes. Basically I'm wondering what is optimal for powering something like this. Is the best idea to use a 3 prong AC adapter whenever possible? Or what is the drawback to floating ground? F...

Found the firmware, the website menu button is pretty small and didn't notice it initially.

Re: Korg DW-8000 with battery leak damage and repair.

Hello! Thanks for all the useful info in this thread :) Recently this and other posts helped me revive a DW-8000, sounds quite nice! When adding the 3 prong input for power should the ground plug be connected to something inside the synth? Maybe the chasis of the synth? I remember this being desired...

most switches look like this, so just connect it in the most obvious way: a: tip, b: sw, c: gnd if the switch is reversed in function, you can fix this by rotating the switch (180 degrees) on the panel. make sure your wiring is not too short! note: according to the schematic, the gnd hole is not gn...

Need help with a SPDT switch wiring on LZX Multiplier

Ahoy, I'm trying to finish an lzx cadet module (multiplier). How would this SPDT switch be connected? The one in the bom was only available when purchasing 100 or more. I have figured out that the middle pin on my SPDT is the common one but can't seem to figure out the rest. Thanks for any info http...
