This is fantastic! I can't wait to get a set of boards. I'd definitely also get the panel and mechanical parts if that works out!

Re: Help me troubleshoot MMI Modular Two Nine Five

I believe I had a similar problem with no output from one or more frequency bands. It turned out to be a poor connection with a leg or two of the ICs. I think I had some slightly oversized opamp pins which made soldering them to the pads very difficult. I'd recommend going back and inspecting, maybe...

Re: Dual Double Function Generator -- B281 Euroclone

I think I understand everything that the module does except the right side. Could anyone explain what atten B, peak out and quad on/off switches does? The quad switch syncs channel B to channel A so that B gets triggered at the end of channel A's attack phase. The B atten pot attenuates channel B's...

Re: Dual Double Function Generator -- B281 Euroclone

I just built this earlier in the year and it is fantastic! Aside from the slight discrepency in the potentiometer specs in the BOM (clarified by alanp above), the build document is perfect and easy to follow. This is an excellent project!! Also remember to buy dip sockets and male/female pcb headers...

That is awesome! Braids looks pretty cool in a can.
Really unique take on a modular synth.

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

I've recently got back in to pd and tt after a few months sleep and have just noticed what I think is odd behaviour? If I run a bare pd patch with the terminal_tedium_adc external and monitor the numbers coming out they don't follow the pot turn properly. i.e. when I turn the pot fully anti clockwi...

Re: Help me troubleshoot Toppobrillo 281

The smd caps look like they could use a reflow. You might need more heat and/or flux as there are a few spots that look like cold solder joints. Also there is an op amp near the bottom left of the "bottom back" pcb that doesn't appear to be properly seated in the socket. Like others say, check for p...

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

Thanks for the help, but i still cant get it running. I now tried with 2019-04-08-raspbian-stretch-lite, that worked on my other terminal tediums a few months ago. But now i get the same error as posted here before. Also, i tried the install git, and the long outlined version on the Terminal Tedium...

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

Its the latest: 2019-09-26-raspbian-buster-lite It looks like you might be missing the git dependencies or the ones named in the install.sh script aren't compatible with the latest version of raspbian. Try sudo apt-get install git-core Or sudo apt-get install git (Whichever works) Then, wget https:...

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

I have been trying to get a new Terminal Tedium module working but i cannot get the software to run. I can test that the board itself works by swapping a previously installed raspberry pi to this board. But when i try to install the raspberry pi for the newly finished terminal tedium it starts to g...

Re: Pseudo .5 291 Bandpass Filter Board

Can anyone share some resources or schematics for how they buffered their inputs 10Vpp euro to buchla expected levels. Or was the input attenuator (trimmer) able to do this sufficiently. I am seeing mixed results in this thread. I did see that the modifications and rev2 changes seemed to make the tr...

Re: Miasma: Function Generator (DIY PCB based on Befaco Rampage)

What are you using as the external trigger? What board version? you may need to post a photo of the pcbs to figure this part out as I'm not sure the revisions are indicated. I've tried different sources like Arturia Beatstep Pro, clock modules like 4MS QCD etc. all with the same result. Board is ba...

Re: Miasma: Function Generator (DIY PCB based on Befaco Rampage)

Just finished my Miasma build. Everything seems to work fine except one thing. TRIG inputs works sort of like a gate, not a trigger (signal rises only when TRIG input is high, but when it reaches the top it falls down as it should even if the signal is still high). Weirdly enough, triggering the cy...

Re: [Closed] Benjolin PCB In Eurorack

It's not as simple as that. Rob Hordjk doesn't allow just anyone to do pcb runs - you have to get permission, and follow his rules for distribution. It's designed as a way to learn basic DIY principles, and as such the resources for etching your own boards and building from scratch are readily avai...

I like the ATH-M50 although the materials used in the headband and earpads don't last long. I haven't worn headphones with the modular for a while for fear of hearing damage. Does anyone know of a simple limiter to connect between the Modular and headphones to ensure levels don't exceed a safe range?

C23 and C24 on the Rampage are the 100nf in the EOC detector, so C5 and C6 on the Miasma. R89 and R90 is the 1k pull down in the EOC detector of the Rampage, so R85 and R86 on the Miasma. This mod won't hurt anything if it doesn't work. I don't see a downside really, just a different behavior. As l...
