There are also contact mics and feedback. Quick question that i can't seem to find an answer to in here.

when updating firmware on a varigate 8 does it leave saved sequences intact or does it wipe the memory?

i want to update the firmware on mine but would rather not have to reprogram everything two days before i leave on a tour.

thanks!

Embarassingly Simple Switch Question

Hello Folks, i'm looking to replace the stomp-style switch on a couple of my guitar pedals with a 3PDT toggle switch and in looking for switches i can only seem to find toggles that are mini-style and i'd like something that would be burlier to withstand lots of transit and performance abuse, can an...

M83 uses a bunch of modular and is pretty indie but some might call electronic pop.

i've seen more and more modular in band settings on festival stages this past year than ever before.

very curious about this module, how does everyone like it? does it go full wash (no dry) at full mix (you'd think it would but that doesn't always happen). how does it sound? is it really 80mm deep?

so many questions, what have you folks found?

Next chapter of modular cacophony

Hello all, i've been working on the next installment of my minimalist modular noise work. Here it is. that high sine is a Dixie II and the 40hz is from an STO. enjoy or dont and feel free to say insulting things about how i spend my time and money. https://moderntapes.bandcamp.com/album/corrupted-st...

as always i encourage discussion, not just because we all love feedback (double entendre?) but because i like when people respond with their own ideas and things they've made.

enjoy.

a 10+ band graphic eq that kills frequencies at its minimum and above a +5db boost overdrives really nasty with cv control of each band. that might even exist, but i could totally use that as of late.

the idea is for a DBA Soundwave Breakdown.

its a pretty tiny circuit board with three knobs and an on off switch. I use it live all the time and am constantly moving knobs and even the slightest changes yield interesting results.
