Re: Eirca Synths Pico Quanizer

Hi everyone. I purchased a Pico Quant but thinking to swap it for a Intellijel uScale V2 (if i manage to find one). Anyone who wants to change my mind? I really like this module. I looked at the intellijel uScale It seems too fussy. This is very no-nonsense and straight forward. It pairs nicely wit...

Does anyone know who makes the newest cases that Mark and the Verbos folks use?

Re: Verbos Mini horse

*I should say that I find it unlikely that they test on only one brand of power supply. The post I was initially responding to seemed to be proudly stating as much and I was responding as much to the tone of that as to the statement. Yes, I overstated the case. I have no idea what tests they do on ...

Re: Verbos Mini horse

I agree, but where's the line? Should Verbos test on 10 different PSU's? Just one module at a time? Or multiple modules, but just Verbos modules? Or in combination with 10 different manufacturer's modules? Kinda what I was getting at above, what testing will lead to a real world confidence level? A...

Re: Verbos Mini horse

Also, their stuff is only tested on their power supplies. if this is true it's basically malpractice i don't know that it's true. I'm just guessing. There are so many power supplies out there it would be ludicrous for any company to test on all of them. Why should Verbos spend time and money making...

Re: Verbos Mini horse

I've been wanting something like this, but I just don't feel safe buying Verbos stuff - too many reports of faulty modules, shitty support, not to mention the steep asking price for pretty much all of them. Is there anything similar out there apart from Pressure Points? I've been eyeing the Korb Mo...

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

okay, some people have problems, some people don't. consensuses is that Verbos module have more issues than other premium-priced manufacturer. e.g I never heard of a single Cwejman module being fried from a switching supply.. probably there is but nowhere near in the same amounts as Verbos does Thi...

I don't get it. I was hoping for a new oscillator and I'm happy that there is one. You should read what I wrote with a different tone.

Also The 48hp case for the mini horse. That’s 155€ and about an inch deep, comparable pricewise to the 4MS Pod48 case.

anyone have thoughts on Mini Horse vs Touchplate Keyboard? any experiences? i tried the MiniHorse out and loved the expressiveness, but when i look further the TPK seems more direct for what id likely do, musically immediate, and still has a few pressure pads and cv bank for a little meta control a...

This may be of interest to some people (or...you may hate it). I did a live set with all VERBOS modules the other day (Harm. Osc, Complex Osc, Amp and Tone, Scan and Pan, Bark Filter, Keyboard, Random Sampling, Multi Tap Delay, Sequence Selector, Voltage Multistage, Multi-Envelop) As well as one ho...

The videos are great but I do wish there was some narration going one like in the make noise ones. I actually prefer these videos but I know what you mean. I like the fact these videos work as presentations of short pieces of music and so can serve as an inspiration but I wish there patch sheets. I...

I'm about to order the Multistage and plan to use it for melodic sequencing.
I use a Pico Quant. It's pretty no nonsense and keeps all the attention on the VMS.

Well, i suppose I should give it another try. I think it's been updated since the one i hated. Up until now I have sold every MN I've bought and hated everyone I tried out but your endorsement will send me back. Without going too far off-topic, I will say that I have a collection of MN modules in m...

Can you do two slews with Maths while using the mixer separately? Yep, the slewing is controlled by the attack/rise and decay/fall controls of the envelope generators. So you have two independent slew circuits. Then why did I hate Maths so much when i used it? It always sounds so awesome. I can't a...

Maths is based on the same previous technology as the VCP, but with a different proportion of ingredients. The Maths envelope generators are also looping skew processors. The center 4 ch mixer, processor, offset, etc is based on the Buchla 256 and 257 like the 4 processors on the VCP. I can't say t...

^ Haha! Sounds like my last few weeks. Need more hooky time. I’d love to hear your demo as well. The cv processor is the only Verbos module NOT on my list and I’m about to buy them all this week. Mine arrived while I was traveling and I have yet to get it in my case. Hopefully this week. Sadly, I have to rehearse acoustic instruments this week for a show and have less time to play hooky on my synth. But I will post something.
