Re: Doepfer A-150 and MI Rings Behavior

Yep! Rings gets its excitation from the change. Why not have your switch open a vca with rings as its input if turning Rings on and off is what you are after?

Re: uO_C Noise Issue with 4MS Pod

Digital modules can cause noise in other modules due to the high frequency clocking and switching of the MPU. Try separating the two modules if possible, moving it to a different power bus, etc. If the O_C is running and doing all the programs it is supposed to I doubt if it is actually faulty.

I would think a decent effects module or sample player/recorder might come in handy for your use case.

I’d try a dab of hot glue.

Re: Befaco STMix help needed

Does it just not matter for resistors if the solder connects? Is that only an issue for stuff like ICs or whatever? Yes it matters no matter what the component is. If they aren't intended to be connected electrically you don't want a solder bridge between the pads. If they connect electrically on t...

Re: Seeking Advice And Inspiration!!

Doubt you are missing anything except maybe a new perspective. I have times where I feel totally uninspired. What I do then is pick a module to focus on (usually one I have been "neglecting" recently) and try to create every possible patch with it I can. That usually hits on something I like and wan...

Re: Disting (EX/mk4) feature request: Arpeggiator

Hi os, would it be possible to implement the chord-arpeggiator from the Disting Ex SD Multisample mode as a standalone mode, so a steppable arpeggiator which outputs cv/gate? I'd imagine it to work like in the disting EX - SD Multisample part 2 (chords and arpeggios) demo but with cv/gate output......

Re: Modules with scale quantization: please let us decide, not you

Why not let just let designers design their designs?

Don't like the design? Don't buy it!

Of course you could always design your own the way YOU want it.

You could even decide to sell it to others.

Then you could deal with them trying to tell you how you should have done it. :hihi:

Re: uZeus Power Problem?

The blinking lights like that generally indicate you are trying to draw too much current. The standard power brick that comes with the uZeus only provides about 1 Amp. What is modular grid saying the estimated load is for your three "modules" ? You can buy the brick type used with the Mantis case to...
