Re: Nerdsynth NerdSEQ - eurorack tracker/sampler

My Nerdseq has been a great creative boost for me. I like the independent track lenghts, different clock speeds for every track, probabilities, random. I can now make whole songs with my modular. The next firmware is even going to bring more random options. :yay: Here is my latest track: https://you...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX

I tried again. When I trigger the samples using another sample, the DistingEX doesn't sound good. The sound distorts. I have tried with various samples with different pitches with no luck. But when I tried with a trigger signal there is no problem. Also if I use a mixer to control the gain of the t...

Re: Felt piano and modular | Generative

interesting, do you record the modular part and overdub the piano later so you know what is going on beforehand? Or perhaps the generative part is somehow predictable? Or are you just winging it and hoping for the best? Thanks! I overdubbed the piano later. The modular had some fixed notes and some...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX

No, it should do that by default. I think you would need to observe or ideally record (tip: the disting EX can record!) the waveforms you're getting from the mic, so you can see exactly what peak signal levels you're sending in to the disting. I tried again. When I trigger the samples using another...

Re: Nerdsynth NerdSEQ - eurorack tracker/sampler

This is a kinda modular lofi-hiphop generative jam. Lots of modulation in this one. Playing with the automators from the Nerdseq and also with the polywavetable synth from the Disting EX. I am very happy with my recent purchase of the Nerdseq. I have not explored even 5% of what i can do, I am alrea...

The stereo signal mix was recorded in one track of LogicX, and a light mastering was applied.

-The filename must be: playlist.txt
-The playllist must be in the folder with the loops

And use the Sublime Text editor for clean output!
I created a new file with Sublime Text editor and now it works. Thanks!! :tu:

Thanks for the help. I did check it and my file is playlist.txt, looking at its properties. In the Expert Sleepers forum someone told me to make the file with Sublime text, to have a clean txt file. I am going to try it and I will report back. other problems have included the wrong encoding - ensur...

Re: Expert Sleepers Disting Mk4

All my wav files loop in all the wav playback algorithms I have tried. Also the dual wav players, but they all loop my files. Why? I have also tried using a playlist, with no success. This was the simple playlist.txt content: disting playlist v1 -loop=0 I am running the latest firmware 4.17. Can you...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX

Just a few days ago I was trying, with a percussionist friend, to use the velocity sensitive inputs of the Disting EX with the SD6 algorithm. We had a contact mic in to MI Ears to control the gain of the signal, and then the audio was sent to the inputs of the Disting. We could play the samples from...

Re: Disting EX feature request

I would like a premium sampler algorithm for the DistingEX. We have 6 CV inputs, so we can make one stereo sampler player that allows heavy modulation of various CV parameters: pitch, trigger, start and end, sample rate, freeze, maybe even having its own FX....Make a Morphadisting!! 😀 Maybe you need...

The best way could be to put all the samples in a folder in the SD card. And select this folder in the SD 6 Trigger algorithm.

Equinoccio - Nerdseq, Disting EX, Plaits,...Analog Keys

This is the first track I make with the Nerdseq sequencer and the just released new Poly Wavetable synth algorithm from the Disting EX. The track begins with some kind of Hoquetus, where I split an arpeggio between 3 different voices. This voices are: 1.-Doepfer A110 Standard VCO, Doepfer A118-2 Noi...

Tap tempo and Sync to MIDI clock should be the best, as you don't have to waste another CV input, I think
