Re: Cwejman owners, current or past

I only have an MMF6. I actually bought it for a slight discount while it was in stock at a US retailer. 1) It was probably worth it. I use it on everything, and I have a particular taste for filters. I justified the cost because most filters are unique and contribute the most to overall sound. I don...

Re: Intellijel Atlantis with Metropolis. Getting actual notes?

Geremyf thank you for that. I'll give that a shot too. Also, the gate button is not consistent when held down. In other words, it cuts in and out. I currently have the Metropolis working like a charm with the MI Plaits, and the Atlantis is providing modulation. I'd like to get to where I can use th...

Re: Intellijel Atlantis with Metropolis. Getting actual notes?

You don't need to send a slow sequence into Atlantis. Metropolis has a tuning mode. On metropolis, hit the config button and use the data encoder to get the to 'Tune' mode. Metropolis is now sending 0V on 1V/Oct & Gate is high. Then set your Atlantis Octave switch to 2, and play the output of Atlant...

Re: NerdSEQ Portable

Hmm, I hope cat videos are still a possibility here.

But in all seriousness, I hope the that the Polyend device doesn't interfere with these plans. One differentiator would be the inclusion of a battery, which the polyend does not have.

You'd have a better response if you posted in the OD forum. Plenty of tips, custom units, and vids.

Re: NerdSEQ Portable

Now that I have seen the long Leloop video of the Polyend Tracker, I think I would prefer the NerdSEQ. he has demonstrated tremendous flexibility and competency on the firmware front and seems to get the tracker workflow a bit more.

Re: NerdSEQ Portable

XOR-electronics has demonstrated HDMI output from NerdSEQ, so it shouldn't be a too large ask for the portable.

Release 2 is set to 0 - according to the manual that is a few tens of ms. Seems that might be short enough to generate a clicky sound. Maybe try a longer release 2 setting? Yeah this could be a cause. Also, the manual does say: However, using an original chip imposes some limitations, some of which...

Take a look at the Synthtech site for the specifications. This osc. tracks much better than almost all other analog oscillators. It also has a very tight stability specification. I did look at the specifications, they don't seem substantially different from the WMD Spectrum oscillator. The Spectrum...

16 pots. So something like 8/8 for parameters and CV attenuation This is what is on the breadboard. The final 'real module' layout is still being debated. The trouble I have is that I use the most expensive pots and knobs in all of Euro (by a factor of 4x more expensive), and this is added to every...

So I watched a couple of videos about the BL3. Is it still a switched capacitor topology like the original, or is fully digital 'virtual analog'? The videos I watched made it seem fully digital, and if that is the case I admit I am slightly less interested.
