DevilLoc at <5% wet is a great density tool.

Re: ? Sampler with: Pitch- AND Time-stretch ? is there any VST/AU ?

I use Kontakt 5 a lot for this. Don't have experience with Octorack so can't compare. Kontakt 6 has new features but I haven't gotten it yet. Sonically I like UVI's Falcon2 synth/sampler more than Kontakt 5. It has IRCAM stretch included (as well as a UVI stretch). The IRCAM elements sound great but...

Re: current favorite eq plugins?

I use Pro Q3 daily but more as a surgical or as a M/S plugin. It's usually doing subtractive EQing trying to tame stuff. I recently got PSP's E27 for a great price which is modeled after the Avedis Audio EQ. Certainly more musical than how I interact with Pro Q3. I think seeing the visuals in ProQ3 ...

Re: ADDAC102 VC FM RADIO are now available!

I love the module but my studio is so remote sometimes there's no reception at all. When it does pick stuff up and I sequence different stations I have good luck with it. Otherwise you could randomly just edit a radio with better reception. Cheaper to do too. This plugin has tons of internet radio s...

The Danelectro French Toast is an inexpensive and awesome octave fuzz. Josh from JHS Pedals has a few good youtube posts about inexpensive pedals. Recently he was talking about Deadbeat pedals which are pretty inexpensive.

Polyfusion dual 4 channel mixer

A friend of mine gave me a collection of Polyfusion modules a while back. I love them but in the collection was a disconnected panel that has 2 four channel mixer modules in it. Looks like wires have been cut, maybe some switches are missing, possibly more. I don't need them and wouldn't be able to ...

I love his songs but my favorite Chuck Berry moment is on the Hail Hail Rock and Roll DVD extras where he and Robbie Robertson are talking about poetry and Chuck recites something from memory that he learned while in prison ages ago and Roberston is just simply strumming guitar chords along. The way...

Use Pro Tools a bit and recently started experimenting with Reaper for some of it's varispeed capabilities but DP is my comfort zone.

I love using the Norris stuff behind the source it's being applied to. I print the effect and scoot it back into time with the original track. Creates a ghostly image of the original. Really great on strings and piano. Also have had some great results with big drums going through the Norris dronemak...

Did you all see the new 'Concert Harp' add-on? Very nice addition ;-) https://www.pianoteq.com/harp ... Got it last week. It's as well done as the pianos. Sampled harps are really irritating after a while. I think this will help alleviate that. Their celesta is great too. Highly recommend Pianoteq!...
