Re: Small panning modules.

panning is quite easy to patch so you may be able to do this with modules that you already have mult the signal to 2 vcas mult the modulator (what you want to control the pan with an lfo for example) one copy goes to one of the vcas cv in, the other is inverted (and if needed, offset) and then sent ...

Re: How do I send audio from my Eurorack to my Computer?

if you do go with the external mixer/usb interface - make sure that it's a multi-channel interface and not just stereo

Re: First Eurorack System - Advice on expanding Grandmother & Neutron needed

you'll be wanting a quantizer if you want to use the tm as a v/oct source

I'd have wanted a quad cascading vca - pref veils

otherwise kind of looks ok - you'll work out what you are missing soon enough when you are patching - hope you bought enough patch cables!!! running out is very very annoying

you may be better off asking in the music tech diy subforum

where did you get the ic from, is it a reputable dealer? if not there's a chance it could be a fake

Re: CBV002 – Circuit bent video delay

what would the cbv003 be?

I ordered the cbv002 pcb/panel set the other night along with the same for vu004 and vu005

I'm liking the cbv001, vu002 and vu004 that I already have

Re: Radio Music+Doepfer LC9 Not playing nicely

doesn't someone do a power delay gadget to reduce onrush issues - this may help in both of these cases - Radio music and morphagene

I searched quickly and found this:

Re: How Many Times Can You Use Maths in One Patch?

sum/or/inv - modulation sources - patch back into the cv inputs on Maths, for example

use cycle cv ins with gates to turn modulation on/off automatically

Re: Calibrating with temperature in mind

you could try this: use a long power cable - 30cm should be ok leave module to be calibrated in rack until the rack is up to operating temperature - and if analog (which I'm guessing is the case) the the module is stable - may have guidelines in the manual now do the calibration - putting the module...

Re: LZX Chromagnon...

Yeah I think I would have wanted to keep at least one core module (or set of modules) available constantly lzx modules always appear to be scarce - few dealers and fewer with stock the only trick is to have cash ready and pounce when you see what you want if you hunt around there are often modules/w...

wow - I've never taken any interest in the TBC2 - so had no idea of the length of time it's been!!!

there's a lot to be said for Mutable Instruments policy of only announcing things the day they are released!

time frame for demo - sometime before it is released! don't hold your breath, but boards are currently in SMT production - so soonish! fingers crossed and release is scheduled to be spring - so in the next 3 months or so - demos should be about a month before release - so within the next 2 months, h...

Re: How do I send audio from my Eurorack to my Computer?

yes an audio interface is exactly what you are after... in rack there are the es8 and es9 for example otherwise there are a lot of choices outside of eurorack - depending on your budget I would recommend reading a lot of reviews - especially user ones - and selecting one with more input/output chann...

Re: Eurorack selections

I would list the actual concepts you are trying to achieve - or at least direct to the where in the video you are granular synthesis might be a starting point - so modules that do that - clouds - and clones, beads, morphagene, arbhar etc etc etc modulatable reverbs lots of v/oct channels(buffered mul...

Re: Eurorack module help

a midi to cv module - go to modulargrid and have a look at all the options and then ask a specific question about the module - ie is this any good? I would also suggest sketching out a starter rack and getting people to check it either here or on modulargrid - copy paste the url of your public rack ...

Re: Eurorack output

start with an attenuator (passive, cheap) or the output of a vca or mixer - both turned down and increase gain until you can hear it at a comfortable volume if you need to adapt between 1/8" and 1/4" use an adapter cable and not adapter plugs - less stress on the jacks - less mechanical contacts to ...

Re: Help With Power!

the amount of power you need depends on the power draw of the modules not the number of rows/amount of hp you have so maybe head over to modulargrid and throw a rack together to see what the power draw is - remember to leave a good amount of headroom (20-30% at least) saying that the trogotronic has...

Re: Rack Power Advice

the mdlr one in the original post looks fine - has enough power including headroom for the modules you want to power and states it is designed to power 12u/104hp = 416hp, which is more than your 9u/126 (378hp) and plenty of headroom on the rails I would also strongly recommend getting people to give...
