Re: Audioweevil08

The seller also has a cwejman qmmf for £5000. Don't think you have to look hard to find a cheaper one that even from other reverb scammers. I wonder what the point of that site is, anyone ever got a good deal??

Re: Cleaning smoky gear :(

Does the smell not disappear after a few months? I thought it did on smoked gear I bought but maybe that wasn't heavily infiltrated. I sympathize with you, is a rank smell

Re: Audio jack to Banana adapter

Could make a jack-banana cable (or ask Tom nicely next order)? If you have it housed in your BB modular no grounding necessary

I think plague bearer is meant to mutilate and destroy your signal rather than simply filter it! Unique

They're in Germany but imagine it's cheaper ordering direct from CL. Hold tight

What's the (DIY?) module in the middle?

Re: SSL Six. New small format mixing desk

I have read reviews and this whole thread and I just can’t get my head around the workflow on this thing at all. I’m glad people are happy but I just can’t figure out how or why someone would opt for this unless they have like two pieces or gear. At its very most basic it's 6 channels input plus 4 ...

Re: Lack of space in music

Look at films and TV shows - the soundtrack music never stops, it's painful. I love older films/TV where the music is used to meaningfully embellish crucial scenes and there's lots of moments of clarity where one can clearly here the dialogue or take a break from sound and enjoy the images. The same...

Bugbrand do great DRM drum synths. Not tried a syncussion so may be completely dissimilar though!

Not much excitement for this here. The Gearslutz thread is beginning to include some really useful information - and more sounds.
There's been a more than a few reasonably priced 606 clones with more features in recent years, what do you expect?

Re: RIP Simeon Coxe of the Silver Apples

Sad to hear this news. My first band were supposed to release a split 7" with the Silver Apples back in 1998. The label was a fraud and the record never came out, but we did get to go and meet Simeon at his rehearsal space in Annapolis MD. When we arrived, we could hear loud synth jamming though th...
