Re: How to split cv sequence in high and low outputs with triggers?

Hi! Yea, i moved the topic and added the trigger issue as in this scenario the vcos would have independent vcas.
I also have the pico logic here which could help me split the triggers.

How to split cv sequence in high and low outputs with triggers?

Hi! Nooby question here:

If i want to split a monophonic cv sequence in high and low outputs to be used with different vcos/vcas which tool do i need?
A comperator? Could my maths do this?

You can copy a single channel's settings to all the other channels already
Yea, this is very useful. Global realtime editing would be killer tho!

Re: Xaoc Zadar, Quadruple Envelope Generator + Nin expander

I love this thing! But i am really beggin for a poly mode where you only need to adjust one channel. Wy workaround is a multiple to all cv ins for the warp value for example but it would be fantastic to have a link mode where all parameters are copied from A to B,C,D. I know there is not much memory...

Re: New AKAI "FORCE" standalone MPC / grid controller

Spotted a drum synth in the newest (non public) beta on Namm2020. This is really nice as i requested such engine in the beta forum. Still- something about this machine does not tick with me. Either its all the bugs and short RAM or i my main concern is simply its form factor... i really got attracte...

Those are the only two capable of logic. Maybe voltage block could do the job aswell when clocked by the gates and set to a 2step sequence but i didn't want to sacrifice it. Then there is the abstract data ade 32 and zadar. the rest is filters, oscs, vcas etc..

Help! Building a switch out of Maths and Pico Logic

Hi! I had an idea for a patch where i would need a switch to seperate every second impulse in a sequence of gates. (the gates are coming from notes, not from a linear clock or else) As i don't have a simple switch module i was thinking if i could get something out of my pico and/or maths. the pico ha...

me neither.
That beeing said - sometimes modules react differently on reset signals. Happens to me when syncing voltage block and ade-32 with tempi.

I'm currently selling my KorgaII and will get the qpas soon. Now i'm wondering if i should get rid of my wiard borg 2 aswell. :help: I think this lpgish territory can be covered with the qpas. Borg still sounds fantastic anyway... That would mean swapping the Korga II and Borg II for Qpas and propab...

Why don't you clock the pam with a pulse from cv/gate on the force?

Sheesh, you're right. That could be a problem. The Kenton Thru-5 (like all within this series) privides seperate power with a wall charger. Maybe it is possible to steal the 5v from one of the usb slots? The kenton needs 9v, you would need some kind of voltage doubler/converter... BUT Meeblip Cubit ...

a thru hub, agreed, but a USB hub is another matter. USB hubs add something to the effect of 5ms usually. at least from our testing here. Agreed, "hub" is misleading in this context. For the MIDI Output an analog solution might be more sturdy. For USB-MIDI Input on the other hand the use of a USB hu...

Thanks Mndscrpt for pointing that out!!!! Yea, i think the fancy stuff like complex routing and data filtering costs some ms in the Mio. Midi Solutions quadra works great, there is also a new tabletop thru box from meeblip! And if you want to go all-in you can go for the kenton Thru-12 or Thru-25. ...

I know MIDI latency is unnoticeable for some people but i'm a drummer and have fairly sensitive ears to timing discrepancies, i've tested and measured latency when running through a MIDI hub at around 15ms. Offtopic: Midi latency because of thru hubs (edit: thru box!) is a hoax. You can't hear the ...

H!! Just ordered the force. Not sure about delivery here in germany. Regarding the octatrack i have to admit that i will sell mine. It did a great job and i had the best results when i started to do other things than playing stems. But when playing live, using the ot as sequencer it was hard to swit...
