Re: A Good Delay for 5U?

Just for me best delay for analog synths are BBD and tape (and some time old digital delays). If someone will port new XAOC Sarajewo - it will be interesting variant. Not so dark (and so psychedelic) as old Ibanez devices but still really good. Sorry I'm new, BBD? Bucket-brigade delays like EHZ Del...

Re: Mmag.ru - Anyone purchased from them?

It’s pretty old Russian 2 musical stores + online shop. I’ve bought some stuff from them many years ago (but did it locally)

Re: DUSG or NTO for small system

in euro I have both NTO and DUSG from R*S. pluses for NTO: different waves outputs, sin/tri are great for WM. Variable is intereting but to get something fresh from it I controlled CV with Zadar crazy LFOs. pluses for DUSG - it's like powerful constructor, have a dirtier saw out for my ears, pitch s...

Re: Missing Modules in the Format

Just some thoughts of patches between MU and Euro. 1) Serge Wave Multipliers (both 3 section drive/vca, rectifier and multiplier are really musical and can help with sine outs quite boring singals). I hope for MU version switches can link sections 1,2, 1,3 in both ways instead of patch cables (very...

Faceplate design is top (but you need other boxes from them to get the style). Need some good audio demos!

Ping family - DUSG, SSG, VCFQ

Some strange sequences from DUSG, SSG and VCFQ. First wiggling with SSG. More experimental modular music is more and more interesting for me.

Re: I hate Facebook. Forums vs Social Media

MU sub forum is like San Marino. We can make our rules (offtopic threads) here and it's ok. Basically I use FB for communication with some of my friends. It was a historical channel and we didn't swap to telegram. UX/UI of FB is terrible. 1/3 for content and 2/3 for navigation, ads, and something el...

Re: Post your NEW 5U Audio and Videos here

after some time of thoughts which filter should I add to MU palette I tried several from my euro system. R*S VCFQ (LPF, HPF, BPF based on Serge modular VCFQ), VSL VCF74 (based on Microkorg if I remember right), AMSynths8109 (LPF of Jupiter 8) , Klangbau Twin Peak Resonator (based on Rob Hordijk Blip...

Re: Entry 5U System

I can recommend to find used Mos-Lab 8 system. It's little system which gives a great tone and can be expanded later with fitlers from other brands. Everytime I just need to play keys with analog tone, I use Mos-Lab plus drive and delay pedals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMTouJJP51A classic Moog...

Re: Daft Punk split

^Ewww gross comment. Daft Punk will forever be the absolute lads. They’ve done more for electronic music than almost anyone - completely redefined how incredibly spectacular a live dance music show can be, managing to keep things stylish and avoid too much cheese whilst they did it. Not bad at all ...

Re: Xaoc Devices Sarajewo: Syncable Analog Delay Line SHIPPING NOW!

To anyone using the module, how does the timing respond to modulation, lfo and audio rate? Is there really no CV control over feedback? How does the sound compare to the moogerfooger mf-104z, is it comparable? didn't try audio rate signals, two variants for T modulation described in manual. one is ...

Re: Club of the Snobs... oops, Knobs

Mos-Lab packaging is top class. I can say the same for Dotcom (free coffee is also great). Dotcom is also very good for putting some granules that are absorb the water. I think that some manufacturers are engineers and musicians and not marketers nor businessmen. They don’t understand that lack of s...
