Been feeling uninspired with my hardware lately. Hoping it's mostly self contained workflow can give me some spark. Shouldn't have sold my OT…

I think the demos sound fine but they aren't a style I'd personal use.
Some bread and butter sounds would be welcome.

If you do need to replace them I successfully replaced the ones on my ESQ-M with these:
Alps RS30111A602N

I believe the ones in the ESQ-1 are also 30mm travel.
Don't pay Syntaurs insane markup for a couple potentiometers.

I find it very strange that so many people do not seem to have a problem with Behringer, I can only assume they are not familiar with their past form, or that they just value cheapness over all else. :despair: I have zero qualms about one massive corporation "stealing" from another massive corporat...

If you want a more modern solution the scsi2sd V6 works as a USB mass storage device, and since the S5000 is FAT formatted you can use a USB cable between your computer and the scsi2sd to drag and drop files without having to mess with SD adapters or the old USB option card. I've got a 64GB sd card ...

well...supposed to be mono.

anyhow...
stereo imaging is only available from the master out.
I'm able to get the stereo clap and tom out of my individual outs.
I dunno why it's not mentioned in the manual.

I generally like the clap too. I didn't find it to have a very large sweet spot for how much range there is though.

Someone on GS asked him about it back in February and this was the response then.
the Detroit will be available in April 2017.
The price will be around 1000 €.
There will not be any preorder for now.
The first units will be just sold in Germany, later on worldwide.

Best regards

I've had no issues with my RME UCX on Sierra. I believe most of their stuff uses the same driver, so I assume it'd be the same across all their products.

My concern isn't for Moog or any single manufacturer, it's for the whole culture as a whole. The more people rush to buy the bargain priced gear the fewer dollars that are spent supporting smaller, more creative companies. I'd be more angry at Korg then… edit: Which is to say, the market seems to b...

The AI organized/categorized the sounds.
The video is buried on that page, but it explains it better.

I guess a real world application would be sample management.
e.g. "I want a sound that is similar/different to this one" etc.

maybe it's the primarily button based interface keeping prices low?

I don't think the ESQ-M is too hard to program, I actually find it easier than the Ambika which is sort of similar in architecture. :hmm:

Nice that they posted their schematics. Makes it seem a little less shady.

As someone else said, I think this will be good for modding. I might pick one up for the price.
