Re: Korg 2600 Mini

Seeing this next to a MS20 mini I am less worried about the form factor than I was when they first hinted at a mini 2600. 1/8 inch jacks and 30 mm sliders are both alright by me

Re: Synthesis Technology E355 Morphing LFO

You have to have 100 posts to be able to sell there. I’ve had a lot of luck on my local Craigslist, have recently posted a module for sale on Reddit’s modular group, and have used Facebook (There is a Eurorack BST group that I liked a lot before I deleted my account) and Reverb for purchases and sal...

Re: How many modules outside your rack?

I’ve had about 6 at once before, but quit the habit a year or so ago.

Nowadays I would buy another case or sell something to make room.

Not Eurorack, but Author & Punisher might be interesting to you? Dude builds his own instruments, I'd watch some of the live clips if you're interested in that https://youtu.be/jjlBOPLWZyw Oh fuck, I'm in love! Getting into these guys a bit. Re: Put your Album Release into this Thread!

Released this last month and figured I would share it here. This release was mostly created on my modular, with a sprinkle of Digitone, Microwave XT, Volca FM, and some NI Reactor on the software side. I've got 5 download codes I could share with anyone that likes it enough to want a copy. PM me if ...

Re: Novation Summit - keyboard version of Peak

I bought one of these early last month. It's probably the nicest single piece of gear I've ever owned (before this I would have said it was the V-Synth I owned from 2006 - 2010). It sounds just as dreamy or as angsty as you program it to sound, and it can be fun to use both sides of that in a layere...

Re: Clouds 2

Interested to see what this brings to the table, along with the other 2 new MI modules that Émilie mentioned. I'm kinda wondering if it's going to be exciting enough to make me break my self imposed "no more Euro in 2020" rule I set for myself, or if I can be patient and wait until next year to make...

Just Friends
MN Function
Cold Mac
MI Kinks
MN Wobblebug
MI Blinds + any of the above

Re: Ochd or Sloths

I’ve had a single sloth, and currently have an OCHD. I like them both, it find the OCHD more immediate / useful. I have not updated to the latest Disting firmware, I think there is a sloth like algorithm that’s been added there recently that I’m planning to have a go with soon. (Just in case you nee...

Re: Verbos Complex Oscillator and Vactrols?

From another complex VCO’s manual (Make Noise DPO) on the use of vactrols for modulation “Throughout the DPO opto-isolators, commonly called Vactrols, are utilized as gain cells, and the result is that the module have a slow and organic response to control signals. This manifests itself in the smoot...

MS20 Mini Endcaps?

Hey all, Long story short, my cat knocked over an Adam A7 monitor off my desk and onto the side of my MS20 mini. From what I can tell, the MS20 is still functional, but the right endcap is smashed. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EcVHIU5X0AETxDL?format=jpg&name=large I've done some web searches, and sho...

imagine starting this thread I can not. I don’t get it, but don’t expect to change it. Their “technical m...

I rented a DFAM from a local store last year, and my favorite non DFAM-like thing to do was to take the VCOs and run them into an LPG and trigger with separate envelopes.

Not to challenge what you're saying about Perfect Circuit, but heads up, it's probably going to be a bit of a wait. I ordered mine from Perfect Circuit about six hours after it was announced. That's three weeks ago tomorrow. Still haven't heard a word about when I might get mine. Presumably they're...

Re: Earthquaker coming to Eurorack

I got mine in the mail this week, and really like it.

I don't really understand the obsession with stereo modules, and I like that I can either break the feedback path OR use it in pseudo stereo with the send out hard panned with the main output.

It's a bit of a cop-out answer, but I've found I prefer modules that can be both lfos and envelopes depending on how you patch them... Same here. I only have a single dedicated LFO (with several waveform outputs - an A-145) and I tend to mult it out all over to affect different modules. Most of my ...
