OTOH, MFB pump out a new drum synth/machine practically every year and always manage to switch things up in interesting ways.
Ah yes, MFB, a manufacturer whose products always feel finished and whose customers are always fully satisfied.

Re: Eurorack standard desperately needed!!!

The real complaint should be that manufacturers often don't publish documentation for their modules. :agree: This. 100%. This. --------------- FWIW, it often *does* cost more to accept negative input for certain types of modules. thirding this. it's amazing how many manuals, even those from the mos...

Re: Spring Reverb Comparison 2020

I'd love someone to do a true stereo spring module (2 ins 2 outs). That would rock and I wouldn't have to buy 2. Reverbs are often stereo because they seek to recreate physical spaces and we have two ears. And so they have "opinions" about how that space works e.g. size or reflection. Spring reverb...

Re: ADDAC215 Dual S&H+

Is ADDAC not on MW or do they just not care enough to comment here? This was a pretty big fuck up if you ask me. How could you not engineer a s+h module to work well with pitch cv? Are we back to early-days this-vca-only-accepts-cv type shit? There is an ADDAC subforum on MW. https://www.muffwiggle...

"50mm depth behind the panel with power cable installed"

via the FEEDBACK website, so they're at least clear about that.

I bought one of these when they were on sale last month and it's easily my favorite Euro delay. Getting whooshy mangled rhythmic stuff for house/techno is a joy.

Re: What is the most random, random-generator still in production?

Someone recommended to me in another thread the SSF Ultra-Random Analog module Any suggestions for either a single-module, or set of modules/patches to produce highly-random trigger-sequences? Note: I own an Erica Synths Pico RND and was considering adding a 2hp TM. URA is not a hard module to find...

The Audio Damage modules are discontinued. You can find them used but it's something to know.

Four oscillators is two too many for a rack this size.

Re: Module Recommendations for Clicky Percussion

I'd look into the WMD percussion modules—Fracture, Chimera, Crucible. They're sorta-kinda granular sample players meant to emulate specific percussion sounds.

Also Bastl Grandpa, which will get you good 12-bit granular sampling in a small/inexpensive package.

Re: Modules with scale quantization: please let us decide, not you

I think this is a matter of interfaces and not of capabilities. For the type of modules you're talking about, scale quantization is an added feature, a tertiary capability, and not the main function of the module. These modules are designed to do certain things and allowing users to choose scale qua...

To add to the discussion sputnik modular stuff. He’s moved on to different/better things but I kinda wish he was still around since I really liked his take on buchla over the verbose ones.
This is my answer too. Simple, elegant designs. Getting harder to find without commanding a premium yet.

Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler

My reading of the manual is that I should be able to record parts of a continuous signal into different channels if I use the channel trigger/button to step through the active channels while record is active. Has anyone been able to do this? Whether I'm using triggers or the button itself to change ...

one quibble: I wish I could adjust the volume of the tick relative to the clap sound, even if it was via trim pot or jumper. it's a bit loud I think. Holding the trigger button until you hear the tick sound will make the tick louder than normal. Doing it twice will make it quieter than normal, and ...
