My brother was a member of the Sub Pop singles club around that time. I was more inclined to listen to Mudhoney and the Screaming Trees. When Nirvana blew up it was annoying to see some of kids show up at the local club (a place called City Gardens in Trenton, NJ) to see “alternative” bands...anywa...

To me what makes it special: just chunking it in like a guitar pedal sounds great. For some reason the later models just don't do it like the 1st two units. It also works well (just like most Alesis) as a glue verb, when combining multiple long verbs together. It is really noisy though, and often ne...

Haven’t done it yet, but I’ve pondered building a pedal board with a regular rack patchbay at the top. Drill holes and connect all your pedals to the back of the patchbay. Then just rearrange order, feedback patch, etc. at the front (I’d probably assign a cable color to each pedal, to minimize visu...

Re: Guitar pedal send/return pedal thing
I feel like what would be awesome on my pedal board is a pedal that has a few send/returns so i can route stuff around live without re-plugging/configuring the pedals themselves... Is there such a thing? Boss LS-2 is what I use live. I also have a little DIY patchbay that I use with the LS-2 in the...

I would save my money until something really sparked my interest. Edit: Shit... who am I kidding, I can't get rid of this thing. I'd sell a kidney for it, we're all terminally ill anyway and life is short. A day without an OB-6 is like a day without water... Sigh... Gonna just have to complain to Se...

I bought an A185-2 about a month ago. Worked well, but now switch 2 and 3 are only adding/subtracting around 0.79 Volts, 1 and 4 are working normal... tried a different case/psu - same behaviour. Jumper is removed. Any ideas what could be wrong? Did you find a solution from Dieter? My a185 has the ...

One thing I've learned in my nearly 60 years of being alive is that those who accuse others of horrible sins are usually the most guilty! Relax. I gave you 2 solutions. One really cheap one, DIY. One that costs nothing, common sense. Feel free to spend lots more. Your "common sense" isn't common sense, in my case, or anyone else in this thread. The thread is about junky speakers and your posts are about flexing your ego. Both solutio...

Anyone tried mixing tracks with a Tivoli radio as a pseudo-Auratone? Curious about this too as my DIY LG TV speaker setup died, and I'm in need of something to use like an auratone. There are lots of DIY options out there. Please don't spend lots on speakers that aren't supposed to sound good. Have...
