@ Panason the difference here is, he has an ACTUAL, first-hand-experience issue that, by the sound of it, is entirely outside of the norm, and possibly not even the Microfreak's fault (it may only be the one unit that is responding to it the most) you, on the other hand, were blindly (=without ownin...

do not use the Mackie Mixer between the Euro and the Audio interface (if possible). and make sure you have a interface with low Noise-floor. this Antelope thingy is probably crap Antelope is actually really high quality "crap"... that´s not the issue. Neither is the Mackie (though that is somewhat ...

re: the reliability of touch sensitive "buttons": it´s a capacitive touch sensor most likely - that either works or it doesn´t - and in the latter case, it´s about your skins' conductivity most of the times, and bad grounding in the remaining cases. they definitely do not wear out or anything. Pana...

Sorry for the necro thread revive. I'm looking for a second 48dB filter. I already have the a108, but i want/need something else to get rid of clock noise on the BBD. 24dB just doesn't cut it compared with the a108 but i dont want to "waste" that lovely sounding filter on such a mundane task. Are t...

low output volume Is this right? is it USB powered?? the output volume varies (sometimes quite strongly) from patch to patch, especially when "paraphonic" mode is enabled - which is to be expected, and also the different oscillator models have different output levels just due to their inherent natu...

I´m getting reports from people on my german Synth forum that analog clock in is broken in the first firmware update from May 13th... can anyone else confirm this?! I´m still on the factory firmware... Yes that's been reported elsewhere. thank you, but that´s not what I asked - I know it´s been rep...

I recently got the Waves Scheps Omni Channel and it's basically the only thing I use now, FX aside. How do I use it? Either direct on a channel or parallel processing and more often than not I just find an appropriate preset, and then maybe tweak that a bit. It's very cleverly designed for someone ...

...personally, I think houseplants are an atrocity... our species didn´t spend 4.000 years to separate the "outside" from the "inside" and build nice houses, only for us to go right ahead and carry the "outside" inside in stupid little pots! >_< (jk) ... you're just not gettin with the right kinda ...

Machine drum the Machinedrum would be the last one that works well with a Euro System what the hell are you talking about? I am using mine with Eurorack every day... EDITed to add info instead of just snark: as I said above, multiple outputs combined with "IMP" (impulse) machines on the MD = trigge...

uff, that´s rough... yeah as I said, I have nothing against houseplants (or Rings, for that matter, before the ///// forum goes all up in arms - again -), but I don´t want any in my own space ;) I am all about aesthetics though with my gear, and I have to say, the MicroFreak's weirdness (that touch ...

Maybe it's the colours in that video which just made me feel good, I think it may have been processed a bit. I still think I need something a bit more organic in the studio. you´re just a sucker for that sweet French sunshine and possibly that guy's moustache :-P personally, I think houseplants are...

sounds like a reversed 16pin power cable. I unplugged everything. With just two modules plugged into the bus board all three led’s remain on, but if you patch them together or plug in a third module, the led’s are back to only the -12v lighting up. at this point, you´d be best off telling us exactl...

:-P Seriously though, I used to be a total minimalist, white on white, and now I'm really getting into the kind of visual richness a room like that one has. My studio is blandly functional and I think it's time to add some texture. Maybe plants, although I don't own a Moog. ... but you have a RINGS...

Can you elaborate on what you'd use that for? having both modular and line level outputs available simultaneously would allow for (live) parallel processing / recording of dry signal to a DAW. sure, wouldn´t be too hard with a buffered mult and an attenuator anyways as it stands right now, but yeah...

... almost on page 2, and nobody has mentioned the MachineDrum yet?!? tsk. tsk. ;) individual outs, "impulse" machines that function as modular trigger sources, etc. pp., sounds great - it really ticks all your boxes. if you get the UW (user wave = added sampling) version it can sound whichever way ...
