Resistor value swap : i installed a 1k instead of 10k
Also had a 47k instead of 4k7
Those two are located bottom right, near the two big capacitors 220uF.
Look closely at your resistor values around there.

Re: 292e Velocities
The thing is I was never totally comfortable with the clones, so now I try to gradually make a mainly 200e system out of it. I really started to like and use the preset system. I do completely understand. Was in the same boat (no pun intended). The preset manager is defnitely an interesting way to ...

Re: 292e Velocities
Two things a little OT but just in case it may help you : - My first ever Buchla module i got was a 266r which i loved. Then i got a 200e and thought i would replace it with 266e. Meanwhile this last one can do everything a 266r can (almost) the UI was a bit ackward and i finally sold the 266e and k...

Re: EMS Synthi AKS stand
One could use this one and saw the bottom legs at the desired length if necessary. Did it for my Serge. You can remove the plastic end cap & adjust foam. Also, it is foldable, handy and while being small, heavy enough for a two panels Serge so i guess should do the trick for an AKS/Synthi https://ww...

I'm surprised no one mentionned Barry Schrader yet. His last albums are full of FM/AM and related timbres (through Kyma). "Barnum Museum" & "Monkey King" especially. Re: Buchla love/hate
The statement i made earlier in the post was a little succint so i'll add 2/3 more personnal feelings which might help understanding the decision of selling. For me the 200e is a GREAT modular instrument, no doubt. Everything is very well thought of in term of design etc. Clearly a genius system. Ho...

Re: Serge: An old trick but it still works
All have been said already, elegant & simple yet very effective patch. Thanks for sharing Todd. Slightly related, it reminds me the pseudo-quantization patch w/ two PCO/NTO using the Sync input & DSG. You can achieve staircase, harmonic related frequencies on the slave Osc. I need to try it again......

Re: Buchla love/hate
So is most of the frustration with the e system? Personally I have no interest in the e system other than sequencers. Presets don’t really make sense to me in the modular domain. And to some degree defeat the purpose for me. The presets in Buchla are less about "design a sound and save it" and more...

Re: Buchla love/hate
I personnaly sold all my Buchla.
It makes a bit more than two years now.
No regret at all... aside maybe for the Easel sometimes (mostly for it's insane bassy presence).
200/200e, sweet stops are definitely here and a few modules are amazing, but, for me, it wasn't worth the invested money.

Re: STS Serge power question
Should be ok but you have a lot of VCO's (as per Serge paradigm) in those two panels. It is part of the modules which consumn the most.
Check if those are stable enough. If it start's getting unstable, good chances you have not enough juice and more powerfull PSU will be mandatory.
