Re: new Synthi inspired machine coming from Erica Synths

You can hide them. It reduces the noise in the signal considerably. Hitting Shift and then Recall puts them to sleep

Re: Buchla System purchase 2020?

I'll also chime in. The stagnation of modules doesn't detract from the simple reality that Don was light-years ahead of most manufactures when it came to instrument design. It will take me a lifetime to explore what I have in my 200e / 200v system. Its an investment in where you want to take your mu...

Absolutely love my BEMI easel. Have had a few issues, which were sorted immediately and at no added expense to me. The sound is unbelievable. Never selling it

I'll also say that though the BEMI stuff gets a bad rap, I have a BEMI panel 259e, two 292e's, and a 285e. They have been a joy to use and I've never experienced a problem.

Thank you both! I heard word from the tech. He was able to determine that the right recovery amp was 1X instead of 22X. It seems to be fixed now.

275r Documentation?

Hello All, I have a 275r that is currently outputing a very low volume on the right side. I bought the module from Shawn over at Analogue Haven. I'm having it looked at, but both the tech I sent it to and Shawn don't have any documentation on the module, save for the build/BOM documentation on https...

I also have a BEMI easel and love it. The one thing of note with the Reissue is that there are 4 stored CV touch plates on the right of the 218e, while there are only 3 with the clone. Also not sure if the clone had midi. The bemi accepts midi clock and the arp rate becomes a syncable clock divider....

Charles is awesome! I have had tremendous experiences with him. Here's his website:

He definitely would be someone to ask.

My mod osc on my old BEMI easel is a little weak compared the the main as well, but nowhere near what you're describing. Good luck!

Thanks for checking Leoespejo!

Its very much appreciated. Perhaps I'm trying to do something the module isn't intended to do then.

Just curious, did you ever update the firmware? Was it something you had to send the module in for or was it a file upload kind of thing?

Thanks

Thanks so much for the reply! Yeah, there really isn't a reason I chose the ref out. I assumed, incorrectly, that it was a clock ref. Adjusting the VR1 trimmer sadly made no difference. Either it wouldn't recognize pulse inputs or it would behave just as erratically. I've posted another video that's ...

Pendulum Ratchet Problem - Please Help

Hi There! Just bought a P/R off of the BST section a month back. The module works perfectly, except when it is receiving sync. When the P/R is master, the ratchet section with clock divide as expected when the pulse input is coming from the "tick" pulse output. However, when P/R is sync'd, the ratch...

I use the 200e USB firmware card as my MIDI interface and its outstanding! Rock solid in my B&A 24wls case. All OSCs tune to it and the 281e and 292e read triggers and velocity. I think I get up to 4 channels. I'd heartily recommend it. Unless you need continuous controllers, then the 225 is the thi...

What you would need is a voltage processor. Like the 254v or DougCL’s 254e. Both have cv 1 and 2 inputs which can be added together to 1 voltage out. Works perfectly!

Thanks djs ! This test has provided some insight. In a different room on a different breaker, there's no interference. In the same room on a separate circuit., there's no interference. In fact, if all cables are unplugged AND the ground banana connecting the two cases is unplugged, there's no interf...

Each case has its own power brick. They were both connected to a Monster Power conditioner at the studio. I tried moving them both to a Furman unit in the studio and it made no difference. I also tried placing the 262v in the middle and lower boats (it currently resides in the top most boat) and, ag...

Oscillators Leaking When Unpatched……In a Different Case

Have any of you ever experienced this? My 200e case has always been a bit noisy, so this year, I decided to put all non-e modules in a separate case. I have a 24wls with all "e" modules [save for a 288v]. And I now have a 18wls which contains, among others, a 262v. The boats are grounded to each oth...
