I have a PCSA-2 and can confirm that the working board height is 220mm, as the rails are spring loaded you could actually squeeze a board that’s 230mm in.

I may be mistaken but it looks like the “String Oscillator” PCB is missing the drill holes for all the banana socket. If so, this board would be impossible to build.

I’ve had my pair for about 4 years and used them a lot and they still seem as good as new. They are my go to cutters for PCB work.... if it’s soldered on to a PCB I’ll use these to cut it. I’m pretty anal about tidy solder joints and these work well for me.

I use a pair of “Engineer NS-04” side cutters. They are really good quality, reasonably priced and Japanese made. I own several tools made by this company and they are all excellent quality. You can pick them up for around £15 on eBay. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.c...

I just gave the tool the Rogan PT (Mutable/Make Noise) test. I’ve always these knobs particularly difficult to remove. The Uni Wrench removed them ease. You can also tighten nuts on pots without removing the know with it. All in all it’s a really useful little device and I throughly recommend it. It...

Knob Removal Tool - Dunlop Uni Wrench

I picked up a Dunlop Uni Wrench today. It's a little tool designed for guitar work but happens to act as a great knob removal tool. I've been looking for something like this for ages. I think I'll need to add some kind of adhesive film on the panel of the tool to reduce the risk of scratch panels wh...

Re: What's "Source of Uncertaintly" and how is it

Thank you for putting up with my new user questions, and sincere apologies if I got the name wrong. So how is that particular circuit/module (panel?) different from other modules/sources such as mixed LFOs or combining various other signal sources to create "uncertain" results? Thank you. There are...

Am I being naive thinking that I can use a TL071 as a drop in replacement for the LM301? If not can anyone suggest a suitable substitute? I would doubt it to be honest. Depending where you are, I have quite a few spares in the UK. I ended up buying a LM301 on eBay. Thanks for the offer though. The ...

I’ll change the 1st post accordingly, just need to confirm whether the change came in with rev 4 or 5. I think Jammie changed them to match the original ARP switches and because they are PCB pin types so don’t require the pins to be modified, which some people were not too keen on. I’ll see if I ca...

Why don't you contact MOTU or their UK distributor, MusicTrack (the markings on the PCB indicate this is a MOTU Midi Time Peice AV) http://musictrack.co.uk/repairs/service-and-support.html They may be able to provide you with a replacement transformer or at least give you enough information to sourc...

I have a Rev3 PCB and I've seen that the BOM for the Rev5 PCBs spec alternative CW Industries slide switches that are MUCH cheaper, here are the Mouser PN. What are people using in Eurorack for mixing Drum Modules together? I'm thinking of 6 to 8 modules, I've got a couple of "maybe" solutions but wondered if I'm missing anything or if anyone had some good suggestions or unusual work flows? Alright JB, I used a Hot Glue for a while, it's a nice little...
