Re: Tyme Sefari MK1 MK2 Kompare Video

awesome vid! also...for those who may be unaware, if you have a TS mk2, but don't have the 8hp for a SOT mk2, but still would like access to the pitch bending features, it is possible to attach a SOT mk1 to a TS mk2 (or make your own as i did - with some pointers scott graciously provided me) https:...

potentially dumb qotile/offset question

with nothing plugged into it, it doesn't actually output an offset voltage right? its just applies it to whatever is at the inputs? how are people creating a manual fixed offset voltage in harvestland? does english tear do this? i've just been chaining all the gates of a stillson channel together an...

Re: Harvestman setups

I love it, its cool to generate some weird rhythmic pulses. Totally different beast to the Stillson MK2. same here. a totally unsung module, even in 2020. Well, I caved and bought a NOS SHmk1 from Shawn at AH. He mentioned that there hasn't been much interest in this module for years until the last...

+1 and often i have wondered...couldn't this just uh, you know, be emulated on the mk3? man, that would rule

i also tried to build an MFOS noise from synthcube and yeah, i had all manner of problems. i've done plenty of smt and am confident it wasn't my skill. i def had parts missing, had no guide, etc. eventually i got the random gate to work, but that was it. took me a while to realize what the jumpers d...

Re: Double Andore - Do you have 2 mk1s or 1 mk1 and 1mk2 and WHY?

Try this with the Kermit mkIII - use channels A&B in envelope mode and then use the C&D channels to cross mod the wave selection perimeters. yeah this is a ton of fun for sure! my problem is usually having all 4 channels tied up with modulation duties (stupidly, i do not keep my mk2) Do PH mk3 and ...

What about those of you with 2 DA mk1s or 2 mk2s? What's your reasoning for doubling up versus going with one of each? Are any of you thinking of replacing a Double Andore with the Andore Jr (single Andore) that will hopefully be available soon? a buddy is threatening to sell me his DA mkI and that...

some thoughts: i love the mk3. i love the mk2 as well, but mk3 is like a whole different thing really. still, they sit side by side. the routing options are vast, i personally like the stereo routing and the series routing the best and use both fairly often. the 4 pole mode sounds especially fierce ...

As stated you're looking for a scanner. Synapse would give the most options. It's great and someone recently described it as the Maths of mixer/switches. yeah that we me, and i stand by it. synapse rips. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=229657 yes you can only crossfade betwee...

I used the SHMk2 and yes, this gives you 480. It was very hard to calibrate it precisely, though; it kept drifting a few tenths of a point in each direction. Is this normal?
yeah i had the drift too, i just tried to let go of the buttons whenever it zero'd in on 120 exactly

Re: Creative uses for a Burst module?

its not really 'cool' anymore, but the stillson hammer mk1 is super versatile and very playable. i like to spit out the burst outputs into a bipolar mixer then 'sequence' things like speed and sample rate controls on sampler/looper type modules for some sped-up-slow-down weirdness, or triggering mul...

has anyone successfully calibrated the clock?

if i feed the tempo jack with 120BPM from the SHmk2 clock out, kermit reads ~480BPM, even though i have kermit's global div set to x1...but if i set it /4 only then can i get it around 120...am i missing something?

Would you mind sharing the type of knob you used. I did a search on Thonk earlier, but wasn't sure what I was looking for to be compatible with the shafts.

Anyone else notice the module "goes to sleep" after a few hours....tap indicator goes off and status lights of Osc C & D go glacial. No way to wake it up....just have to reboot. Came here to ask the same question. This is happening every time I use it. Same thing happens to me if i leave my rack on...
