Re: Black Narcissus/Jodey Kendrick

My fav is his most famous track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LXtLxU6Wpg I'm madly in love with his sound too, and more generally speaking this kind of detroit electro Some obvious ones but you should check out DJ Stingray's work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4Fg1FLQjLg This comp is nice too h...

Re: Versatile drum synth (for drum sound design) in 2019

Hey, big fan of what u do, Here's what I use to get glitchy rythms in a very fun and fast way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWPdkK3m7Cc&t=705s This version is not out yet but can't fucking wait, this guy is amazing. (You can use whatever you want as a sound source, voices for instance are really r...

Acid with a lot of reverb? That's a bit reductive, in my view it is not quite as simple as that. Still, your link to acid with not quite enough reverb is very good, so thank you ;) This album was the first thing Varg did in the electronic realm, there's some interviews about it in which he sa...

At the same time it *is* futuristic in the idea that a Secondary World is really just one that is "not yet" -- or that the experience of being immersed in one can affect the so-called Primary World in complex and interesting ways without being a representation of that world, which may be only in pr...

has anyone checked the Kuedo LP where he basically does his homage to the Vangelis BR OST ? It's actualyl really great. Isn't Kuedo the side-project of the other former Vex'D member ? Yup. And yes, this is to me still the best live show i've attended, twice. I don't know much more than you guys but...

Big fan of the man over here, but this interview is really really annoying, and faaaar from being original. You can guess that the questions were prepared in advance and sent to him, there's no relation btw answers, meaning this is no discussion, and that's sad.. I know I'm a bit biased because of t...

Sadly I had to switch to ableton for this purposes, since Logic isn't really good with time-stretching things.
It's not perfect though, as there's slight tempo variations when re-recording tapes, but most of the time you can sync it to whatever you want

The real Cybotron. For me at least. Love the first two albums, and always enjoy watching the few live videos available. I always think of them as Goblin having a three way with Tangerine Dream and Neu! This one from their last album is an instant banger, though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9y1We...

Gonçalo Penas - Ego De Espinhos

Hey So I've been listening to this album since it's out now, and I must that I'm absolutely in love with it. No damn surprise it's out on subtext, as it's quite close to what Roly Porter might do, a little more tonal thought. The whole piece is amazing to listen to as a whole, even though O Baixo Na...

I really like some of the new compositions by Ron Morelli. The one below starts off slow for the first 50 seconds, but really picks up when the beat is introduced. Well, I too am a bit less than moved by the new dopplereffekt. The glacial drones and basic beats approach doesn't really expand my auditory experience.
