Re: What do you use to tune your oscillators and synths?

I've had perfectly fine luck with a cheapo little digital tuner from Korg. Use a square wave for best results imo.

Re: Dual Looping Delay from 4ms

I made a full 50 minute performance whose main bell sequence revolves around the DLD. https://dumbledog.bandcamp.com (edit: guess we can't do bandcamp embeds anymore) My absolute favorite DLD trick is to feed it a very slow sequence, say one note per bar or two. Could even be random notes of a scale...

Yeah if we're throwing requests out I guess I'll take my shot. For years now I've been thinking about a dual Euclidean pattern generator with an integrated logic section. Here's an I/O pic: https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-6Z9mVh7/0/3ede1a5c/O/i-6Z9mVh7.png The two channels are controlled by a co...

So os, are you taking suggestions for new EX modes at this time? I've had an idea in my head for a couple years now but understand if you'd rather take a break.

I would say it depends on how far away your grandmother lives. Also, if she lives in another country, don’t forget to get the proper permits first. In these times that may be a problem.

This is clever! What's the s&h used for?
The S&H is there to send the pitch to the oscillator only if the gate from Compare 2 is high. If it isn't high then the pitch remains the same -- the oscillator essentially ignores the pitch from Bloom.

Re: Qu-Bit Bloom

Is there a way to tamp down on the sequence's range when traveling down branches? Sometimes it octaves the same note multiple times and gets really jarring, especially with bass. So I spent some time yesterday thinking of a way to overcome this, and think I found a solution with Joranalogue's Compa...

Re: Qu-Bit Bloom

It's... complicated. The concept is absolutely fantastic, and I have been able to pull some great Berlin-type sequences out of it. But it's definitely not without flaws that mar the experience. Doesn't look like Qu-Bit browses MW anymore but I feel a few tweaks to the firmware would really make it s...

the fun in convolution reverb is using non standard impulse responses, using almost ANY audio samples as impulses, you can get some really bizarre other worldly sounds you cant get out of any other reverbs.

Os, have you tried installing one into the newer 51mm 4ms Pods? I feel like this could be a nice compact interface solution for me that would allow me to sideline my MOTU 828x, which doesn't really get the use it that it should.
