Re: Hologram microcosm

Mine was delivered this morning even though it's a public holiday in the UK  I've only been going through the presets and reading the manual but so far I think it's excellent. It's everything I wanted the Infinite Jets or Clouds to be to be plus a lot more. I never got on with Clouds and have...

I'm really impressed with the control of your hand movements, it really shows how to turn a modular into an expressive musical instrument.

I was in the garage with my 8 year old son when the news came over the radio. They played the full 23 minutes of Autobahn so we had a little dance and I started to cry. RIP

Re: What are you using for synth module desktop stands?

I use Ikea laptop stands for the keyboards and a DJ laptop stand for the 808. A velcro tie keeps the cables together

Re: Instant Lo-Fi Junky: Eurorack vs. pedal

I had the pedal, sold it to buy the eurorack but never used any of the inputs and disliked the wet/dry mix knob so I sold that and bought the pedal again. Now I can then use the pedal on my other keyboards (it's currently on my Juno 6). For eurorack and pedal integration I use the ALM SBG as it has ...

It looks like I got in before the lock.

Send Gregorz an email and ask if they’re still posting from Poland during the lockdown

I sent the email asking to go on the wait list in July 2018. I never received a number back from them as to where I was on the waiting list but I just received an email saying that it's been dispatched. :hyper: :yay:

I'd recommend the Electroshart 2000. When self-oscillating the frequency goes low enough to reproduce the Brown Note. :sstorm:

I told myself I wasn't going to buy any more pedals but my self control just cracked and I've pre-ordered. It was the stereo in and outs which pushed me over the edge and I'm already thinking about putting this after my digitone for hours of glitched out ambient noodling.

I don't know if this is relevant to anyone here but the envelope on the ring mod of the DD expander wouldn't trigger correctly when connected to my Cirklon. Over Christmas I finally had some time to mess around with my setup and found that it was caused by the Cirklon sending midi clock to the DD. W...

I quoted to install one of these recently to a building with an inflatable ETFE roof where the seagulls kept pecking holes in the roof. They play back different predator bird calls to deter the seagulls but the coolest thing they also offered was a laser bird deterrent:

The first time I felt officially old was when I was told at 43 that I needed varifocal glasses but watching your kids grow up makes you feel really old. When you're young free and single you've got nothing to gauge the passing of time.

You can get a blue sky which is more limited but sounds ace and is more inexpensive. Also cathedral from ehx is worth a look at as well as TC Nova Verb. I had a big sky and a blue sky and ended up keeping the blue sky. There's no menu diving on the blue sky and it sounds great also the low damp and...

I'll be 52 this year, I stopped playing the live club/festival gigs about 18 months ago but I still wiggle occasionally although it's getting less and less. I've got 2 kids who are seven and fourteen and I'm spending a lot more time with them now. I'll admit I miss playing the bigger club gigs and g...
