Re: Hexinverter Mindphaser - Complex Oscillator

I am really looking forward to this release. I know that you're taking pre-orders on your site, but can I assume you'll be also shipping stock to US dealers as well (e.g., Detroit Modular)? DM has their preorder up already, why wait! https://www.detroitmodular.com/hexinverter-mindphaser.html

Re: New WMD Performance Mixer

Of course I had the custom 7U case built to compliment the EP-420...140 HP, same wood/stain and overall shape. Excuse the overexposed photo, my lighting is super vibey for playing but terrible for glamor shots. But the rear 1U row and piping the DB25 out that way was a huge upgrade. And Jim@Five12,...

Re: The Cursible : An Announcement

Just thinking of all the ways I'd use this...not sure its even possible given the hardware design, but would this be able to act as a 6x6 switch/router? 6 return jacks are sent to the 6 send jacks and the knob would control the routing. With the morph feature I think this would be unique. One applic...

Re: how do *you* sequence your acid bass lines

Metron/Voltera barfing tons of gates and CV to the Arpitecht. It's the most fun I've had sequencing acid lines. Slide may not be 303 quality, haven't compared.

Re: OXI ONE - Powerful and expressive sequencer for DAW, MIDI gear and Modular rigs

This may have been mentioned before, but as much as I appreciate all the CV I/O, my only gripe is that they all point out the back. I would have preferred they point up for easier patching and less desk spaghetti to deal with. I guess I'll make some right angle to straight cables and label them so ...

Re: New WMD Performance Mixer

I’m thinking of getting the DB25 output module for it. Problem is how much those DB25 cables stick up. I might whack a hole in the back of my case and mount it there instead! That’s exactly what I did with my DB25 expander. Much better: clean look, less stress on the cables and jacks. Same here. I ...

Re: New poly synth/synth company - ASM Hydrasynth

Hi, I will probably get an hydrasynth desktop soon and looked at the decksaver as well, but looking at the pics I could see in thomann it seems the part covering the jack inputs on top is useless isn’t it? 1/ it’s only 4 cables (point?) and 2/ how do the cables pass outside the cover ? For 55...

Re: Cosmotronic Thru Zero Complex Oscillator - Teaser

I vote for symmetric, I'd prefer working from the center out as it would make the module feel like a single system. Also, IMO "mirrored" means the same thing, as an object reflected in a mirror would appear flipped, so to me that also means "center out". I realize this is just semantics, the point y...

Re: More algorithms for the Black Hole DSP (MK1) and pico DSP

Will the Rate control on the Black DSP continue to work with the TTA algos? The Rate control will work as usual, as this basically impacts the clock of the DSP, not the algorithms parameters. You obviously don't have the controls from the Z-DSP like feedbacks, and lose the dry/wet control as it bec...

Seeing the conceptual leap from Clouds to Typhoon, it will probably be something like Machetes. Has anybody made a 4HP version with tiny knobs you have to use needle nose pliers to turn yet Yeah, really....and it's going to have some stupid-ass name like "Cutzz" or something  Nah, the 12hp ve...

Most of their stands can be set up at multiple angles. https://cremacaffe.shop/products/kolibri thank you ! this is exactly what i was looking for ! You're welcome! Re: Pictures of your techno rig for inspiration?

Here's what I'm working with. The top three rows is a Pittsburg EP-420 housing Verbos and friends, most of my synth voices are in here. This is raised up about 4 inches. The 7U underneath is a custom case I'm having built, 140hp wide so it will fit well with the EP-420. That'll be for the drums, mix...

Re: The PERFECT Knob torque

Verbos sets the bar, for my fingers anyway. Such a pleasurable experience. And actual knobs vs pot shafts for CV attenuation, except for the fine tune controle which IMO should be the giant knob, but I digress.

Schlappi too. Just got a Angle Grinder and I get the same feels.

Re: FIVE12 Eurorack Vector Sequencer

+1 on that idea! At first I said "wait, there's three MIDI CCs available on each stage?" Obviously I don't use MIDI much either :hihi: Maybe a dumb question...you could have multiple tracks with stage gates assigned to the same output, and it would operate like an OR combiner? That would generate so...

Re: FIVE12 Eurorack Vector Sequencer Teaser

I'm having trouble deciding between the Launchpad X and the Mini mk3 for Vector, and I'll probably use it with 1010 Blackbox as well. Velocity and aftertouch on the X (as well as note mode with built in scales), but maximum portability on the Mini MK3. Anything else I'm not thinking of that might r...

Re: Euclidean Circles or Zularic Repetitor

do you tend to keep the modulation slow and specifically timed? Something that only hits on the 4th bar let's say and creates a fill? Or do you just let it take 1 or more of the children wherever it pleases? With the Zularic, the knobs and CV shift the pattern for that channel, which I guess is ana...

Re: NE Desmodus Versio

Does the Desmodus Versio finally get to studio-quality levels like the Big Sky? Or is eurorack still way behind pedals? Or we talking apples and oranges here? My opinion is its apples and oranges. To me, DV is absolutely studio quality, but it's a sound design tool, not an end of chain reverb. I gu...

Re: NI Maschine+ standalone groovebox

I think we need to get confirmation on just how stunted they are. I'm surprised that despite the the myriad of YT chats and announcements on this thing, we don't yet know for sure. Especially that they are now taking people's money for pre-orders. But my hype on this is slowly growing. I've never be...
