Re: Crumar DS2 repair questions.

Hi,

I have been trough 2 DS-2's they are not too hard to service but aren't easy either. Documentation isn't very good, that's the main reason.
Remember that a new lorlin switch has to be set with a notchy spacer for the amount of positions.

Re:

If you plan to power this from USB, remember that it has 0-5V, so five octaves. The midi spec includes (I think) eight. Not a show stopper, but a limitation nonetheless. Same applies to Arturia Beatstep. Indeed CVpal for example only has 4 octaves but I like it for the calibration system, simplicit...

Re: Midi for all my string machines

Hi, what switches did you use? I wanted to MIDIfy my Logan String Orchestra and Farfisa Syntorchestra forever, with the help of reed relays, but that's gonna be quite expensive. Each key has either two or three switches that need to be closed at the same time. Do you have a schematic for your board...

Re: Midi for all my string machines

Hi,

Multiman and orcchestrator names are mixed up so much even I don't really get it.
Mine has all faders in 1 row and there is one horizontal fader in the middle for brightness of the strings.

The nerve center 50 is a quite rare drummachine. I never had my hands on one.

Midi for all my string machines

Hi all here is something I have been working on: I own a few paraphonic synths/stringers Crumar DS2, Crumar Multiman, Solina MK2, Korg Delta and worked out a set of pcb's to midify them all. PCB 1 converts midi to 64 times one 5V gate for every note using arduino and shift registers. Capture3.JPG It...

Re: [IC] vintage 6-voice polysynth kit project?

It would be great to go with Fatar keybeds, they are more easily world wide obtainable. And yes please, a PCB kit with CAD drawings for the metal and woodwork would be great for the few hobby-cnc fanatics like myself. Also a distributor for europe would be great. I am interested in a partial/full ki...

If there is a ac-coupling cap after the sync input connector try to bypass it and see what happens.

Re: RE-303 or x0xb0x?

Built 7 x0x's and 2 RE's. Both can be very good. None of both ARE a 303. Period. x0xb0x pro's: Great seqencer on latest firmware, many casing options including room for mods, cheaper to build, completely open source so easy to debug. RE-303 pro's: Everything interchangable with the original unit. PS...

Re: Yusynth minimoog VCF resonance levels

Hi, all 3 Yusynth Model-D filter I have done have the original typical bass-drop. I like it as a feature too. No need to worry about it I guess. It can be compensated by patching a feedback loop externally if desired.

TDA1022(P) for JH Triple Chorus

Hi all,

Any advice where to buy the right TDA1022's for a descent price? Are there fake ones from china? The prices are ranging from 5€ to more than 20€ a piece. I need 6 for 2 chorus units.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Project PRO2021 - A Pro-One keyboard synth

Hi Devin, As I told you I checked midi arriving on the CPU board itself so yes I do have a scope. The CPU translates them to very short gate-pops instead of full note lenght gates. Only audible with certain ENV/filter settings. The CPU however translates the keybed scanning into perfect gates. One o...
