Re: How to mount Tiptop μZeus to back of 19" rack?

Why not get some additional flying bus cables and use the μZeus Boost 3A PSU and leave the remaining ones in the rack?

Here are some that have 10 headers:

These are great. Cheap second hand. Power it by batteries or usb. Use either cv/gate or midi. Hands on control. Can’t have too many!

EHX 95000. - this might be a little large and complicated. I have been considering a looper and this is the one that has caught my eye...

And for the pigtronix infinity there are 2 versions. The original and then the 2.

Re: weird multi channel midi question

If you are looking for mono voices the behringer mono synths would be a good option. Crave, wasp, model d,neutrons etc Mutable instruments braids clones could be a cheap option as well for a single voice eurorack module option. Seen them going for $100 new recently. You could also use something like...

Arturia beatstep pro is another option. Inexpensive used. Not sq1 inexpensive.

But an sq1 is a great place to start.

Update: Synth designer Rob Keeble (AM Synths, Behringer) says that the changes in the two new Behringer 2600s “are to improve the sound quality in the filters, which align further to the original ARP design and vision, and to include a reverb tank.” Taken from: https://www.synthtopia.com/content/202...

A follow up interview would be super cool! Awesome thread!!! This would be a good research project for music grad students. I'm working on a PhD right now, not on drum sample history, but on "world"/"ethnic" sample history. But drum samples would make a totally fascinating post-doc research topic. :...

Also known as dead cats ... https://mynewmicrophone.com/dead-cats/ As above, one of those fuzzy/fur windscreens works better than it looks like it should for reducing all kinds of wind interference. Eg. - https://www.amazon.ca/Gutmann-Microphone-Windshield-Windscreen-Recorder/dp/B00GRHBKDG

Sounds like a win win to me. You place a large order that the retailer can fulfill in one fell swoop and you get a better price. I would think any retailer would love to talk to you about it. I would not think it would be a huge discount.
