Re: So how do you like your Verbos Scan&Pan?

I had the Fxdf and Rxmx combo but my unit had a problem with low levels on its outputs. There is where Scan & Pan really shines with its beautiful gain.

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

fav non-verbos modules to pair with your verbos modules? Pamela’s new workout and Magneto. Each harmonic cv input on Harmonic osc being slowly modulated by PMW in different ways is pure joy. And then Magneto in shift mode as an end of the line module and I’m in heaven. If I would have to choose jus...

Re: VIDEO: WE LOVE VACTROLS - RxMx vs. Optomix V1 vs. QMMG vs. Optomix V2 vs. LxD vs. MMG vs. Verbos ATC

The only two I don't own/have never owned in this comparison is qmmg and Optomix v1. I've got the v2 and haven't quite yelled with it and could even swap it for the earlier version after hearing the difference in this video.

Re: Bubblesound modules too big/tall to fit in my case! What to do?

I had this problem with the Sem 20, not the other ones, in a case I had a couple of years ago. Not the panel, it was the placement of the PCB. It fit upside down though. The only ways to solve the problem was to sand the PCB, get a new case or sell it. I sold it..

If you really want an easel, get an easel, that was always the answer. It's a classic for a reason.
I wish it was that easy, too bad it isn’t for the most of us. Kind of tricky to sell stuff nowadays too. Buyers market. I’ll keep it

Keeping this or sell/trade it (not the little one on the right) and get an Easel instead?

Re: Clep Diaz ideaz: a most musical modulation source!

I’ve got 4hp left in my case and would like to fill the space with something slightly comparable to a Turing Machine. And I just stumbled across this beast. How is module in random mode together with a quantizer (plus some attenuation I guess)?

Verbos!
As a newlywedded Verbos lover, I want their whole line of modules and especially their CV modulation stuff. They seems soooo nice.

Re: looking for a performance mixer in the 200€ range

Hi. This mixer would be perfect for me: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/fpb-six-channel-mixer (FPB 6ch mixer) but it's discontinued, as far as i can tell. Do you know a mixer with similar features (mute, cue, volume, pan, send/return) or close, that wouldn't cost an arm? Thanks Maybe an obvious quest...

Re: BEST VCF at the moment ??

I've been on a long filter hunting journey trying to find the, for me, perfect filter and settled down with a Three Sisters and an Amp & Tone. I've bought/traded and sold over 15 filters over these few years, but the two I've got now are the ones that will stay (for the time being at least). But try...

Re: Which modules instantly hooked you with their workflow? Best intuitive and good UX modules?

I've recently got three modules from Verbos (Harmonic Osc, Amp & Tone and Scan & Pan) in a trade and this new love has almost made me want everything from their line of modules. I find them so fun to use with a great layout. Other modules that I really like to use from these stated criteria are the ...

Re: 2hp XAOC Poti?

Is there a schematic for this? Or is it as simple as connecting each of the three pairs of pins on the back of Batumi with one of three switches? I’d like to make one of these. I made mine by looking at the pictures from this blog: https://amazingdiy.wordpress.com/tag/poti/ It was a super simple bu...

Re: How would you fill this 4hp spot?

If you swap places with one of the 2hp mults and Pico drums you'd get 6 hp to work with. Then I'd get a quantizer (uScale 2 goes for cheap nowadays) to fill that spot.

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

I just got three of them used (HO, ATC and S&P) in a trade and they all work great. The only issue I have with one of the modules is well known and I was "warned" by the seller before I bought it: The issues with Scan & Pans center position. The price tag was really low just because of this. The sel...

I really miss my RxMx+Fxdf combo, but I "had" to sell them just because of the size and I had some issues with volume drop with my unit. A somewhat alternative to RxMx I've been looking into getting for some time is the Vactrol mixer for the Turing Machine from Music Thing, but that is also quite bi...

uScale 2? It's so cheap nowadays since Scales is out. It's a lovely and quirky quantizer.
But I think I'd sell O'Tool and get Ears and a uRings, but it all depends how you use your gear. I've find myself absolutely love that combo, but that's me and might not be up your alley.

For me it's Plaits and a 2hp Switch. I love switches, but I keep forgetting to use them and Plaits always brings me joy when I patch it so it's a keeper for me. Otherwise I tend to swap things that sits unused.

There really is no right or wrong way to build a modular. +1 There are so many different approaches to this. Lately I've built my modular with the intention to use it as an instrument together with some external gear that works good with my workflow. Earlier I built it as a stand alone unit. Things...
