Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

Nice! Thanks for the tip. The fusers are really cool! I'm slowly wrapping my head around this thing. Is the resonance fx the equivalent to the delay fx in the Orgone Accumulator? Really love the delay in the OA. :) it is similar, but has a filter in the feedback, and can be pitched (quite crudely) ...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

Hint: if you want to use a CV to control the "amount" of an internal modulator (like how a mod wheel works) use a "fuser" modulator with the function set to "mult(vca)" with one source set to the modulator you want to use, and the other to the CV you want to use.

Re: Adruino PWM and Sallen Key third order

I could be wrong but i think that doing a Mozzi type pwm mixer putting it after the filters will not work as expected. both filters would be working on different parts of the signal, which are at different frequencies. (on a saw wave, the LSB side would be 7 octaves higher.) filters have a phase res...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

If you look at anything with a mod source selector, (the selection list of envelopes lfos, etc) the CVs are in the list,

note that CV A and B are "faster" they are samples 20000 times a second, while C and D are only sampled 2000 times a second.

You might find some modules you did not know about in "music tech DIY" which is mostly about DIY. Some modules are diy only but can be bought used or "build for hire" viewforum.php?f=17

Re: Cwejman ADSR's impact on sound

Compare it to some others on an oscilloscope. (do it with a mult on the output so it is still driving the VCA, the scope has almost no input resistance, but VCA's control input's load could make a difference)

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

If you want to use the internal VCAs and control it with 1 of the envelopes, (one envelope controls both stereo channels VCA) 1: press and hold the "sys" button and make sure it says "vca use" on the top row, if it says "vca thru" press the I/O button while sys is pressed to change it. 2: assign one...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

If you want an envelope on an aux output, there is a page in "I/O" that lets you assign any modulation source or gate to the 2 aux outputs independently of whether they are being used by the output VCA.

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

Am I completely missing something? I can't for the life of me get the internal EG to work. I plug a gate into Gate 1 and Cv into thre V/Oct and get a drone that changes ptich. I know there are 4 internal Envelope Generators but I cant't get any of them to be applied to the OSC. When I go to Output,...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

I reckon there might be too much going on under the hood in this one for this to work, but anyway - would there be any way to add a "randomize all" feature to this somehow? Like just press a button and all parameters on it are randomized. I always like using that as a sort of starting point with a ...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

0.9.6D uploaded on the FB page, it includes a setting in the config page to offset "zero" when the aux outputs are set to envelopes or gates, you will need a scope or multi-meter though! Also a new stereo transform alternative to detuning, It is called "Haas" which adds a short delay on the left or ...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

Quick question about the caps. A few of the suggested ones in the Google sheet BOM are rated at 2% and 5% tolerance. Is this an absolute must or can I use 10% caps that I have at hand? My apologies if this has been discussed before (couldn't find any mention though). some of the capacitors which ar...

Re: Retail orgone accumulator.

I love my Orgone. Really underrated I would say. Only thing that was always puzzling to me is the fairly small range on the pitch knob compared to pretty much every other osc I've ever owned. I did that because i wanted to be able to resolve semitones but not make the pot too fiddly to use, use the...

Are there any equivalents that can be used for the TT encoders? https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/858-EN11-HSM1BF20 They are out of stock and won't be back in stock until August. digikey has bourns PEC11R-4220F-S0024 they might be reversed, but o_c has an option to reverse encoders, the "F" mean...

Re: uO_c 8hp ornament and crime.

if the display is working, and the encoder is working, chances are the teensy is ok. if no outputs are working but gate and cv inputs are working, it could be the DAC. if no outputs and no inputs, then it could be power related, that is pretty much all they have in common. the top left 2 pins of the...

I've soldered the remainder of the board components but this one gave me a lot of trouble. I ended up bridging legs (and subsequently applyin...
