Re: which stand-alone sequencer?

I also love sequencers and Have spent too much money on all of them. In eurorack and standalone. Everything from Beatstep pro, Pyramid, MPC LIVE, MPC X, Metropolis, Zeta Ohm FLXS 1, Arturia Keystep, Make Noise 0-Cntrl, etc I didn't like Pyramid and I did really like the MPC's. I don't have an MPC a...

Re: modern cv/gate recorder?

I have started a thread for this in the past and I agree that there is a gap in eurorack with a more detailed CV/Gate Recorder. I really like finding odd and interesting sequences with turing machines, random functions, etc. It would be great to have a more detailed cv/gate recording device to save ...

I think I'll get into 500 series at some point. Pretty cool concept for outboard processing. I'm sure it sounds great.

Re: Top 5 modules?

Behringer Neutron (in effect it's several modules for the price of 1 or 2, and a great way to get started in eurorack) I have a 15u 104 hp case and I keep the Neutron in it as a really good utility worth the hp, IMO. Need a couple adsr's? In there. Analog vco's? Check. S/H, Mult/VCA, Its all there ...

Re: How did you pick your sequencer?

Sorry for the slightly long post. I really also like the "battleship" term. Seems like it could be common wording moving forward. Sequencers are why I got into eurorack in the first place. I, like many, came across Mylar Melody's video of the Metropolis and that got me going. I have had quite a few ...

Re: Roland Boutique Price Jump

I sold all my boutiques for a Jupiter XM and couldn't be happier. It sounds so good and it's great having a 4 part multitimbral machine with all the classic roland sounds as well as not being limited with 4 voices.

Re: Question for MPC X/One owners

I just ordered an MPC ONE today. I've been in a relationship with these machines since the first live came out. I've had one of them constantly as the heart of my studio. For the past few years, I've had a Force. I'm a bit tired of being a beta tester and I'm putting it in the closet and putting the...

Sameeee bummer they won't be around until 2021 if that's true.
I found one by posting a thread in the WTB forum here. I probably started it less than a month ago. You should do the same if you are looking.

Re: Simple vs complex envelope

Hard to read a thread like this and not mention Klavis Quadigy and Xaoc Zadar. Both can do really simple envelopes, both can do really complex envelopes. They do not take up a lot of space and are way more simple to use/hands on than one might think. I'm going to add one of these two modules at som...

Re: Have you ever regretted menus on everything?

I don't mind screens if they are intuitive. I really don't like button combos that I have to remember and look up every time I use a module. I think the screen on the e352 is large and very intuitive and helps you see what is going on. Pam's screen also is pretty easy to get around on even though it...

The Ladik s-180 8 step trigger sequencer with s-181 gate out expander and s-184 cv expander. It's perfect for this and I have one for sale for cheap! https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=229598 Edit: Didn't look at location. You can order direct from Ladik. Hello, Long-ish reply, but I'm a bit passionate about these machines as they've been the heart of my studio since the first MPC Live came out. I used MPC Live for a bit when it first came out. I liked it so much that I bought an MPC X. Loved it. Then Force came out. I know many people on forums bitc...

Re: Tascam Model 12 (With Midi!)

The Model 12 has replaced my Qu-Pac. I miss the i/o of the Qu-Pac, but the ability of being able to overdub & multitrack makes it worth it. I also recorded a phone conversation today via a TRRS cable in 9/10 input. Maybe I'll start a podcast now. Hmmmm... It even works without the cable! I've been ...

Re: Is There A Linear Sequencer for Euro?

For less of a price of an er-101/102, you could get an mpc one, which has 4 cv gate outs, it's small enough to put right next to your modular, and your also get a excellent midi sequencer/drum machine/sampler as well.

Re: How many euro Sequencers is too many?

I used to have the Sequent/Multium, thiking of picking it up again. I'm super happy with the Verbos Multistage/Sequence Selector combo ad the fantastic little Tirana II. Some controlled semi-random would be welcome though. I really like it. It also sits right next to a Mimetic Digitalis, which IMO,...
