Re: Gamechanger Audio Light Pedal

I have to say, I loved the sounds in that Perfect Circuit demo! It def looks very playable with synths, espesh that sweep effect... That looks fun! (Not to be that guy, but I'd love to see a version with stereo ins and outs, and cv everything.)

Re: Quad oscillators for use with quad quantizers?

I used to use Xaoc Batumi As an oscillator? I have a Batumi and O&C (they live next to each other), but I've never actually tried this. Yep, just max out the faders and you have four 1v/o tracking audio oscillators. Used here, with Three Sisters: https://youtube.com/watch?v=croyGB8nRsE WOW!! That's...

Another Quad VCO would be the Flame 4Vox. It's a wavetable oscillator, it's huge, the configuration interface is weird, but it meets the requirements :)
Space-wise that concerns me, but I'll look into it. Thanks! =]

Re: Quad oscillators for use with quad quantizers?

Why meh on the Doepfer? I also was interested in this.. Never tried it. Have you? Nope. Haven't used one. Just from checking out the layout/interface it doesn't excite me. That's all. Not at all saying it's not a good or useful module. I kinda just wish Instruo made a 4-oscillator version of Troika...

Re: Quad oscillators for use with quad quantizers?

On my initial search here are the results that popped up:
  • Doepfer A-111-4 Quad Precision VCO (meh)
  • Synthesis Technology's E370 Quad Morphing VCO ($$$! also gigantic!)
  • Iron Ether's Qwoso (not yet released)
Anyone have some success with any of these? Or are there any others you might know of?

Quad oscillators for use with quad quantizers?

Howdy all! So I was scratching my head, thinking about a quad quantizers such as Instruo's Harmonaig. (Of course there's also ADDAC System's 207. Are there others?) Anyway, it got me wondering if there are great, versatile options out there for quad oscillators that would pair well with one of these...

This would be really cool with Instruō Harmonáig. 🙂
That's exactly what I was thinking! I was just trying to think of a 4-oscillator module for harmonaig. At the moment, I was using Qu-bit's Tone. Fun but would like to do more than sine waves.

On the Beat Repeat firmware, any chance you might design a Smog panel specifically for it, @antumbra?
That would be really cool!

Red Panda recently did a small run of Tensors in Gloss Black Holographic finish to celebrate the release of their compilation record focused on Tensor dubbed Tensor Tracks . But, of course they're all sold out by now, and there are the usual shitbags reselling them on reverb marked up a couple hundr...

beat repeat

The Blck_Noir has a beat repeat-like function/effect which they called Freezer, I think. That's mostly what I'm interested in Milky Way for. But, having never played with either, I wonder how well they work and if clock sync is doable.

Black panels for the 1U row would definitely complete the look nicely! I'd love to do the same for my system.

I wonder if this is something that WMD is working to improve upon in a firmware update.

I second the suggestion for Radio Music into Rings. If you want to excite Rings, give it something unpredictable and exciting, like for instance, a recording of a radio show or a weird performance art piece. Or someone talking a lecture. Rings will turn this into magic. Sweet! Gotta give this a try!

Late to the party. I agree that the tone in which the petition is written comes of as a bit brash. I ignored it and signed it anyway as I am also in the boat of wanting one of these puppies. I remember reading somewhere that it wasn't cost effective to do a production run of this synth. Given the si...
