Re: Behringer System 55

The AJH Synth FFB914 (Eurorack Format) is inductor based! https://www.schneidersladen.de/en/ajh-synth-ffb914.html "Based" being an important word here. They admit to being based on inductors, not using them. I'm sure it's groovy, still. Just not inductors. Hm, din't know that! It's indeed missleadi...

After doing some research: For getting a masterbus-chain including compression, some sound sculpting eq and an output transformer stage you could use this: https://store.louderthanliftoff.com/collections/mister-focus/products/mister-focus-comp?variant=15339388797037 As an enclosure you could use the...

Well, I was thinking about the whole "break the rule" thing also. I know that there are some people who think that learning music theory might ruin some part of your creativity and so on.... For me it actually helped a lot, to really understand what I am doing and to have a point to start from. So m...

How to make a cool synthesizer sequence

Hi there, this weekend I made this synth sequence and as I found that its far more easy to gain knowledge about the latest modules and technology than about music theory, I thought it could be helpful to share some basic knowledge . So here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLdQTCj...

As I liked my Rings so much, I outsourced it from my main rig and put it to something portable. In addition with a contact microphone input, an overdrive and reverb/delay effect unit + LP1 as a modulator. I absolutely love it! =)

I asked myself what I need to further improve my music making. I came to the conclusion that it is not gear but rather skills that I would need the most. So I changed my GAS towards "SAS" (Skills Aquiration Syndrome). So basically watching tutorials, reading lots of articles and the try to get the s...

Yes, the combo is really nice... I still love to put some distortion to my rings to get some kind of heavy guitar sounds. I have the rings for more than one year now and it is still my favorite module. All the time I am impressed how versatile it ist... Here is another demo (the rings kicks in at c...

Go to Schneidersladen! I am only living a few minutes away and really like it there. I once saw an interview with Mr Schneider where he encouraged everyone to go to the shop and touch everything and try everything out. So go for it! =) By the way: There is a blog http://www.stromkult.com where they ...

After I bought an Analog Rytm, I somehow neglected my modular. However, today I was playing with it again and Rings was an instant inspiration. In this patch I just used Rings and Clouds (the sequence comes from an Arturia Keystep). Love it! ...

Twisted Electrons - deton8 - (sampler)

Look, what I saw at noise.berlin

A twisted electrons sampler! It has a record and a playback option, can play samples from sd-card, has[/img] a step sequencer and lots of cool effects.
Should be there before christmas!

That's awesome kreis! What's controlling the clouds v/oct? Thank you! The voltage is the same which is going to rings. The clouds is a bit tuned up and I added quite a bit of feedback and size. That's why the notes are a bit delayed. Kreis your video makes me want to add a Rings to my setup ! are y...

I would suggest to add a Mutable Instruments Warps. This would give you a second oscillator + a ton of modulation options.

I tried to make something different... I set Rings in "yellow" mode and put it through a Pulp Logic 2180 (inspired by this:

Here is something I did yesterday with Braids going through a Doepfer Wasp and Clouds for some Reverb.
The sequencing / playing was done with Rene and a separate Volca Sample is providing some beats.
I hope, you enjoy.
