S o .... I'ts been like two and half something years since my last post here - wow! As they say, life got in the way and I had like a zillion other things to deal with besides modular. So it's good to be back and find most of the old nicks and some new ones too! For most of last year I was working c...

WOW - I have been hunting for the circuit schematic for ages - Thanks! I want to mod the mixer so I can choose Pre/Post fader for the sends. I am no Electronics engineer, but that seems simple enough, taking the Pre Fader line to the FX sends from just before VR104. Question - Would I need to add so...

Yes, this will work if you have the Vecoven mods, but the controller itself is a clone of the original PG-800, so it doesn't have PW or PWM controls. It is basically an exact replica of the original PG-800 in a different package. As the Fred Vecoven mod is literally setting the standard for anyone ...

Burdij,
that Groveaudio VCO is one kick ass module!!!
I like the "Jack-Plate" design, sure saves them a lot of wire
going between the PCB and panel.

I was toying with such an idea as a stand alone part I could
repetitively use in my own builds, but never got too far with the design.

I vote for built to last with full metal enclosure. Right along with industrial grade components. A few of my DIY builds. ... And a pic of the back to see how the board is mounted with a piece of L bracket and square plexiglass insulator. CZ Rider - those are beautiful builds! :hail: How well do th...

Built to last

As happens with DIY, problems lead to solutions. This time it was about setting modules aside safely while working on them, and the increasing itch that a full scale DIY MU modular needs its ass covered, too. Oh and while we are at it, a pro-like solution for mounting and protecting the PCB's behind...

Hi Huba-Swift -
I will be using the exact same method, the difference is in sourcing the materials and fabrication.

I really want to see that 10 step MFOS panel in full scale! :-)

Pitching in here: I have a stock of 1U, 2U and 4U blank aluminum MU panels that could provide a cost effective option for DIY FPE panels. So, as these have no powder coat on the front, they could make for some original FPE designs! PM me if you need some :guinness: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/...

PRODUCTION ISSUE Adventure update: The shop scheduled to do the faceplate prints did a 180 on me and upped the agreed-to cost to an amount I am not willing to pay. Hey, the whole point was to reach an economic option, wasn't it? :bang: So, as I have a box full of "Barebone" MU panels, these are sti...

OK, I had to pitch in as I have a stock pile of 2U bare aluminum MU panels ready to take any design... Anyone interested, I can get a few of these done, without holes, at about 37$ USD per panel. You will have to do the drilling on your own, but this is as cheap and fast as they come. I will have to...

I can see why you wouldn't want to drill so many holes, I use a dremel and have gotten good at drilling really fast, but my arm is usually pretty sore by the end of it. I have the proxxon drill stand with a small 12 V proxxon. It's perfect for pcb drilling and the precision is extreme. It was one o...
