Re: Module which unexpectedly blew you away?
I got Manis Iteritas shortly after it was released, I knew I would enjoy it very much but boy oh boy every time I patch it up it continues to bring something to the table. I've not used it in a little while, but recently worked with it as a melodic synth part of a track and it just has such presence...

Re: Intelljel Metropolix
I'm selling my Usta to get two of these, having tactile control of rhythm and pitch at the same time and all those internal sequencers sold it. I love usta, but the CV inputs is rather restrictive based on all the cool stuff it can do, it could really benefit from an expander with some CV in lanes,...

Re: VCAs with Character
The vactrol response mode in Streams is a favourite of mine, really nice sound to it. Has an internal envelope which is useful but you can freely patch any envelope/CV into it for more/different control. You have control over the tonality of it too, so it's not as restrictive and fixed as some stand...

Re: Intelljel Metropolix
Am seriously daydreaming about using the gate expansion to clock voltage banks from Tetrapad/tete. I mean 16 banks of 8 voltages in kahoots with this thing is going to be amazing! especially with cross modulating. I just need a few modules to sell off and will totally be getting on this train!

100% this, I love BIA into Belgrad, driving it a bit harder, but being able to focus it a little more.cinnatoastg wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 4:30 pmImho people are really missing a lot of what BIA offers by not throwing it through a filter.

Managed to bag one from Elevator in the UK. Seriously is a shame this will be the last MI module, what a run! Cannot wait to get stuck into this!

Re: Mutable Instruments Blades
Maybe it's too early for this question, but i'm curious as to what happens to the signal when the dial is set halfway between serial and parallel processing...? 75% input to A, 25% to B ... 50% of A into B as well ... output mix of 75% A + 25% B ? It’s likely the input signal is sent through all st...

Re: Rossum Electro-Music Mob of Emus
Yes, you could use 3 CV ins set to FREQ to control the pitch of three Oscillating channels, and the other three set to QUANT to quantise incoming CV. Maybe I miss something but in the manual I see you could have each CVs to each function or each CVs to same function (quant, freq,...), but I dont se...

Ok, first proper patch with the EMU Using it as a 3 channel generative sequencer, one channel sending triggers, another self modulating wave forms on some channels. Additional patch notes in the video description. This module is superb! https://youtu.be/z7hiwxt1hbw Frankly, I didn’t have any clue w...

Yes, you could use 3 CV ins set to FREQ to control the pitch of three Oscillating channels, and the other three set to QUANT to quantise incoming CV. You'd have all of those options on their own outputs. When quantising external CV you can use the GAIN parameter to limit the CV's range (no need to d...
