Re: Dreadbox - Typhon

Typhon has arrive this morning, it's fucking wonderful. Init patch to full acid nonsense in around 5-10 mins https://www.instagram.com/p/CClXxqsh2z5/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet It's built like a tank, the effects are really really high quality, the reverb is superb. I've not messed with th...

Re: Filter Hunt

your 'dark techno' style could get a lot of millage from a Xaoc Belgrad, I absolutely love mine, it sounds huge when you drive it and is even bigger under FM. SSF Stereo Dipole is also an absolutely huge sounding filter (technically 4 filters), has a bit of a learning curve in how it's controls/CV i...

Re: Dreadbox - Typhon

Seems dreadbox are shipping this thing early. Just had the following message, all great news. "Even though Typhon was destined to be delivered on the 20th of July, we managed to finish the product earlier and we decided to send it to you. Please note that some features will be updated on 20th-21st o...

Re: How Are You Using Your Xoac Tirana?

I did have one, it was seriously cool. I loved the immediate nature of it, ratcheting/step skipping was easy and very performable, at the time I considered adding more to have longer sequences the only reason I didn't and sold it was I ended up getting an Usta. One of the coolest small sequencers ou...

Are these actually available for preorder anywhere? Sweetwater indicates it but when you go to the page it says “notify me when in stock”.
You can preorder direct from Dreadbox as long as they still have stock

EDIT: They're sold out

Yeah, trigger pulled. Was looking for something just like this, have been for weeks now. I sold my mother 32 to get something a bit different, this will do nicely

I’m just grateful that folks Like yourself are putting in such efforts to keep things flowing, my pre order is with yourself too. It frustrates me to see folks getting irritated etc... have they not watched the news? Skeleton/1-person crews across the board from manufacture to customs clearance, sh...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX

Demand was massive, I ordered mine the day it was announced but they have not reached matttech yet, they’re moving as quick as it is safe I imagine. ...and believe you me, I've been chasing them! (as much as is polite, and possibly slightly beyond that) Everyone in the supply chain is working on va...

I believe you can then patch the dipole output of that side into the opposite side, put that side in serial as well and you will have a 48db response.
yes you can absolutely do this

Are each of the 4 filter cores 6 dB, or 12 dB? IE if you run all four peaks serially in low-pass mode, does that generate a 24 dB or 48 dB response?
They're 12db filters, so a single side in serial LPF mode will give you a 24db response

Can someone tell me (sorry if this has already been covered) I'm interested in running a tracker with the Expert Sleepers FH2, I was wondering what the power draw is on it, as obviously it would need juice from my intellijel performacne 7u in that case. thanks Mine runs off shuttle control usb powe...

Re: Frap Tools USTA

nice bangin' lines there...how is the usta interface working for you when sequencing drum steps? Were you used with traditional xox linear sequences for drums ? How is the transition? How intuitive? I guess it is visual intuitive, after you learn the color codes on usta I find it pretty straight fo...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX

I received mine from PC on Sunday. Unfortunately, the "P" encoder is bad or bent. I'm only able to press down to "select" about 15% of the time depending on the rotation of the knob. Real bummer. Also, it's a really deep module, by far the deepest I have even compared to some of the EMW stuff. It w...

Re: Frap Tools USTA

It's brilliant at percussion sequencing actually, the ratcheting behaviour, probability, variable stage lengths per track make it a techno monster. Two CV's per track are also very useful for sound design, velocity, controlling envelope times per stage, then the stage loop function with the new pat...

Re: Frap Tools USTA

Someone mentioned the Usta sequencer is not recommended for sequencing polyphonic notes ( I assume, as long as the vco is not spitting polyphonic signals...) I def. don’t see it specifically designed for sequencing drums. Is it focused on traditional monophonic signals only? It's brilliant at percu...

Re: Instruo arbhar granular processor

Does anyone else notices noise from the leds of the Arbhar? I’ve been trying to minimize it and it’s definitely an eminently useable module, but I can hear some whining/buzzing with say intensity all the way down and the level controls pushed up. Just curious if it was “dead silent” for anyone in t...
