My only euro is a drum machine. https://cdn.modulargrid.net/img/racks/modulargrid_836318.jpg Grids, two bass drum synths, two peaks, an sds vco (currently as an effect, however it also has a dandy drum firmware) a combo vca + and AD enveloppe with accent and a euro Patchblock (one channel is always ...

Re: How do you organize modules?

Like this! https://www.instagram.com/p/B-DyL8bhZ2i/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link I just reorganized tonight. Grids->ThomasHenryBass->BobBass->APE->Patchblock->Peaks->Peaks->TEXMix4->TEXMixMaster->SDSVCO The thinking was pretty traditional. Most drum machines have things like kicks, snares and hats la...

i can't be the only one...
Except you can still find a decent original for $400-ish.
Which is too damn high.

These things were usually 150, sometimes sub 100. They aren't getting any younger but even cheap shit is going up in price.

Re: Best way to enhance my electronic drums

but the MetalZone, ah yeeeeaaaah. :sb: See, not just me! MetalZone is cheap, has some built in eq/tone control for sweeping. Also, as others have pointed out, the MS20, or I imagine any synth with an audio in will help add some grit. Effect sends on a mixer can help so you can layer both dry and ef...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

In theory, no. In practice, Behringer can survive a lost lawsuit and Kirn can't. What lawsuit? When has Kirn EVER released any music gear under a brand name of Kirn? Was he planning on it? Do people think Korg can't hire a bloke named Roland because they might get sued? I don't get this jump from t...

Well trademarking his name was even worse than that. Means he's couldn't have any involvement in any product in the audio industry.
You can not honestly believe that.

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

The non-apology apology ("we're sorry if you feel offended") is just the icing on the cake. You're not the first person to state this, so please don't think I'm picking on you, but how is "We unreservedly apologize to Peter and anyone who felt offended" a 'non-apology'? Don't get me wrong, you can ...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

But it would be equally unfair -and inaccurate- to presume that everything is fair game. It is not. Perhaps that's why you left Roland off your summary list.. Roland has taken steps in the last few decades to protect their IP where it could. While they never showed interest in rereleasing old gear,...
