Re: Channel strip in a pedal?

Anyone tried the SansAmp Bass DI? Not restricted to bass, I also like the idea of parallel distortion and this pedal has a blend, many parameters, and an interesting set of output options. http://www.tech21nyc.com/products/sansamp/bassdriver-di/ I have the V2. It’s the same as the original, but wit...

Processing any source material with a pitchfactor, do it :tu: Even better when you pair it with a space or other nice reverb fx. The party really starts when you put the individual fx on their own fx send channels and route the returns to mixer channels instead of the fx return. Then you have an fx ...

I only have the shape shifter and happy ending kit. This set up will do a fabulous job of exploiting the shape shifter. Im going to need more flying bus cables, lol! https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/289254

Or just adding a tube vca and filter will work as well. Get ready for a power supply upgrade

Dark/vintage oscillator makes no sense to me. Its the final output that matters. Detune your second oscillator, go lower on the filter cutoff, use a mixer that adds a little bit of colour to your sound. Another thing to consider is that tube based modules play nicely with other sound sources with co...

This thread is rediculous. I've had issues that were dealt with imidiately from metasonix, makenoise, and the other unfortunately escapses my memory (they made modules for 5U and frac originally). Anyways, unless you have a module that is extremely rare in parts, chill!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you need a mixer with a high pass filter and three band eq with sweepable mids on each channel. Have a look at Allen & Heath and Soundcraft boards.

Depends on how much you've got going on at once. Ram is dirt cheap though, so why not have 16gigs.

A refurbished HP in the $400-500 range would do just fine for running ableton. Tons of good deals on ebay for refurbs.

I wouldn't waste a delay pedal for a sound source. I recommend grabbing one of those cheap teenage engineering pocket operators for your sound source. After that, I'd start out with a delay, reverb, and tremolo.
