Re: TriTone - 3 band EQ, filter, saturator

I waited a year for a black panel but it never happened. If they come back it should be in black. I find this module to be both a great distortion, aleatory, and a filter. Not lacking at all. Can do it all at the same time. Only 6HP 3 in 1. CV inputs. I paid $170 for 3 filters! Ha! Guess what! http...

Re: What's the best module to be famous?

I can only help by using the method of elimination. I have collected modules for a while now, and have not become even the slightest bit famous, if you don't count that one guy who came to see our band because he had heard there was a modular synth involved. He avoided me afterwards, so I think eve...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

There is a very, very thin line between politics and ethics. No there is not. Who told you that? I mean just do a little bit of reading. Please???!!! :miley: :slapfight: My uncle  Thanks for your advice btw. I do read from time to time, but I prefer a good conversation. .....With people that...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

There is a very, very thin line between politics and ethics. Fact is, scientist mainly disagree on the definition of politics. But there is agreement that politics is also about settling moral differences of opinion that are serious enough to cause social conflict. A commonly agreed arbitration proc...

I don’t see it happening elsewhere either. But giving away something that is worthless is not a gift. The last half of your post is too cryptic for me. Sorry for my English. I tried to explain that the brandname is not worthless. :hihi: I’m sure Uli was interested. Or other businessmen. In the end,...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

I have to say I would be really surprised to learn that Yamaha gave the Sequential brand back in an act of pure magnanimity, I suspect they decided they would never use the brand. It's a good act but I doubt a great act. I wouldn't. Traditional Japanese culture still works on respect. And Dave S us...

did 'he' produce the cork sniffer thing? did he make it himself? did he order underlings to do it? or did some underlings do it and he maybe at most cursorily nodded approval?
Hmm, does it matter?

So how many hours in the day, do people imagine, Uli works? It is a big company, he may have not had anything personally to do with 'swing'. Of course he bears responsibility for setting a tone in the company and for allowing it to continue. And for hiring people that would behave like that... He m...

Re: Disapointing Modules

Re plaits vs 4MS Ens Ocs : I mean that I can't see the 4MS filling plaits boots due to the fact that the 4MS has a main function, whereas the plaits has many. I'm not sure how I would get a complex drum pattern going, or particle noise sound design etc. Would love to have my mind changed - I'm just...

6 times 1 stage or 1 time 6 stages and everything in between and more, I love it 😻. I haven’t used the Easter egg mode, maybe someday. So much possibilities with the standard firmware. Multiple functions, but easy to grasp. Go for it!

The Fromm is an interesting read but... debatable First a debate about stages of Capitalism has to be geographically circumscribed otherwise it does not make sense. The usual context is England, but Holland or the NE US would be similar. 17/18 century capitalism was not society-minded! Instead it w...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

This is no debate (anymore). Some moralists over here mix up criticism and demonizing. I am not yoda, but hmmm I sence a lot of fear, anger and hate. Stay ok, be nice to other people, even if you disagree with their opinions or their way of life. Not an easy task, but try it ✌️. This is not America....

Can't believe no one has mentioned The Beatles or Bob Dylan! Just kidding. Actually, I don't believe how someone has actually mentioned Bob Dylan and The Beatles. I can't think of anything I thought was more universally "likeable", but each to their own. :) I can handle 1 song a day of the Beatles ...

It’s now looking like this won’t be available till early 2021 now. DV247 had it listed as expected to be in stock 13th November 2020, only for it to leap to expected February 17th 2021. These expected to be in stock dates having been moving like the dangling carrot since the module was first shown....

I hope this ‘issue’ doesn’t ruïn mr Smith’s party. I sort of feel sorry for him and his team. The re-issue is (imho) one of the highlights of the analog revival.
If I had the money 8-)
