That’s the real selling point, cv over stage, do you know of any other dual adsr’s that have this function?
I do not know of any other dual ADSRs with this feature set & price point.

How do the faders feel? Are they fun to play?
They're solid and fine to play or adjust. I usually automate their movement via CV, though.

Re: Soundforce Dual ADSR

I have one. Its a great, fully featured module and hard to equal at that price. The build quality is also excellent.

I cannot compare it directly to the JUNO envelopes, unfortunately.

that was quick :)
I had the schematic and PCB layout ready long before the SSI2140 actually became available. Once I had the ICs, it was just a matter of testing and tweaking :)

Re: Annoucing: MACA Filter, new SSM2040 VCF from La 67

Where comes the limitation from (16khz)? Is that the chip? Essentially, yes. Its a function of the exponential converter (v/oct). Once the base frequency is established, you can only add so many volts to the frequency control input. Also, 16Hz-16kHz is approximate. You may be able to go slightly hi...

Re: Buchla 100 clones: 158, 180, 140, 156, 106, etc. DEMOS

I've been playing around and have few questions. Do I have an error in my 180's I can only ever get less than 10% of the decay and duration dials before they are rather unusable. Am I thinking too conventionally such as an adsr for controlling a gate. I remember that the early BOM erroneously liste...

Re: NEW from La 67: LR4 VC Crossover

Thank you for making this module! It is one of the few modules I just ordered to start my first modular rig :) That's great! I hope you like it. Would it be possible to make the slopes switchable? Either by modifying the current module, or in a potential next revision? Its technically possible, but...

Re: NEW from La 67: LR4 VC Crossover

So, mine has finally arrived from Schneiders. Spent 15 mins with it. The filters are really great! Very clean, stable, precise and isolate the way it is stated, [...] I am glad you like it :) Obviously the module is too small. I have pretty skinny fingers, but still find it way too frustrating to p...

Re: THE SEARCH FOR A NEW FILTER

EDIT: New filter for the list. LA67 LR4 - crossover filter. [...] Seems like a good module to add to any system as a supporting feature rather than a dedicated filter - is that a fair guestimation? Yes. The LR4 can perform typical LP, BP, & HP duties, but it lacks the Q control that makes a typical...

Re: NEW from La 67: LR4 VC Crossover

What voltage are the M/H and L/M CV inputs expecting? I’m assuming +5V to raise the crossover and -5V to lower it? Therefore, I would need a 10V pp CV source to sweep the full range of each Parameter? 0-5v covers the filter's entire range, but you have inverting attenuators on the CV inputs, so you...

Correct. The MID output is essentially a variable frequency, variable bandwidth 4-pole bandpass.

Re: NEW from La 67: LR4 VC Crossover

Can someone help me understand what the spectral panning possibilities are with this module? Looks awesome. I wonder how the LR4 compares to Three Sisters in crossover mode? Three sisters also uses 4th order filters 24 db/oct filters in crossover mode. Hard to justify this since I also just got an Addac 603, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like one. Cheers  Unfortunately, I...

an order of LR4 Crossovers and WFM Oscillators are on their way to Schneiderladen in Germany. They should have stock by the end of the week or early next.

Dang, I never even check AH for some reason. I reached out to Detroit Modular about when they thought they'd get them and they never responded as I try to support the smaller shops generally, so just went to PC.
Well, thanks for seeking it out. I hope you enjoy it!

Yes, Perfect Circuit is now shipping. Analogue Haven have had them in for about a week, too ;)

EDIT: I just had a look and it seems Perfect Circuit has run out of stock.

Re: NEW from La 67: LR4 VC Crossover

Stumbled across this on youtube last night, such a cool idea, but would kill for a stereo version! Even better if it could be switchable like some stereo filters, so you can use it as dual channel, or set one channel as "master" for stereo use. Don't mean the mono version is redundant either - coul...

Fabulous idea for a utility module and serves a purpose where there's a gap in modular. I can really see using this to send specific bands to verbs and delays to be mixed with a multed dry signal. Very happy to see this!
Thanks for the kind words!

Also, do you have anything to show that about phase rotation vs frequency for knobs about half way. Just one screenshot is fine. Just trying to get a rough idea.

Definitely a tool that opens up a lot of possibilities. Especially with modulation. Curious what audio rate modulation sounds like when combined with other effects. Check out DivKid's video above, if you haven't already. He briefly covers audio-rate modulations. You have to fill in the blanks with ...

Re: NEW from La 67: LR4 VC Crossover

Do you have to work around similar challenges in the analog domain? It seems like the only tradeoff is a single phase length of delay. I'm familiar with Butterworth filters for steep cuts but I wasn't aware that this implentation (Linkwitz-Riley) was common in the audio world. Looks very useful as ...
