my anti oscillator and moddemix are 🍇 friends , they even traveled the country together on their way to come see me! What patches do you do with these two together? feedback is fun, whether its RMing the mayhem and triangle and sending them back to CV the anti, or sending the moddemix sum to one of...

Re: Will I miss Maths?

Maths blocks retriggering; if an envelope hasn't finished its fall cycle then new triggers won't cause the envelope to restart. This isn't the same on every alternative. Rampage for instance will re-trigger on the fall cycle (but not on rise). DUSG and Falistri both block retriggering completely ii...

the switch give me enough options to get some kinda action outta most patches. of course i bought mine from porpoise circus four years ago so idk anything about the diy aspect, but even when its working right its a funny little module. dont give ⬆️ tho the sound is worth it!

Re: Doepfer Quad Envelope Follower - anything else?

So the first gate goes high at low volume, the next one goes high as the level gets a little louder, etc. Right so you need a source that has somewhat of a significant fluctuation in volume levels to trigger all 8 outputs? A fairy consistent played piano part for example probably wouldn't trigger a...

... and sometimes, for free drones or live playing, a sequencer can be useless.. Not if you can run it at audio rates. The A-155 can be used as a graphic VCO—perfect for drones. it can't be used as a graphic vco: its got rotaries, not sliders! ;) i like playing without a proper sequencer inside the...

Exactly. In most occasions you can reapply the knob so that it points at 12, and then 7 to 5 will, once again, be min to max.
in euro? found many more D shaft pots than slotted ones ime, and you cant just put the pointer wherever you want with them

Re: What should be the 2nd Module (after Plaits) - MATHS or Disting EX, thoughts?

I might hijack my own thread a little, but what does everyone think of a module like Mordax DATA? Would it not be a good one to have in the beginning, to have a visual representation of how the waveform are affected with different modulators? It's educational properties seem to be impressive. I kee...

for me, Sport Mod + A-138 4x4 is a 🍇 combo , since theres no mixing onoard the SM. makes feedback more interesting and gives a lot more crosspatching possibilities between the 2 channels of sport mod, and always has something to add to whatevers goin on in the matrix if ive got an open input another...

I'd expect a unity mixer to have a gain of one. i will take that at face value: they are fucking stupid lol you havent started mixing cv yet? what difference does that make to clipping? which is why i asked... 5 volts at unity gain plus 5 volts at unity gain plus 5 volts at unity gain is still 15 v...
