Re: USAMO not always in sync when pressing play

Okey the delay start function seems to make it better but not perfect. But I don't mind, the Usamo already fixed 90% of my hardware/software problems i've been encountering for years.. :hail:

Re: USAMO not always in sync when pressing play

Are you passing the plug-in output through Live's External Audio Effect to adjust the offset? Have you enabled the 'delay start slice' button on the plug-in? Yes I'm passing the Usamo output through the External Audio FX device. The offset setting on the external audio fx device is not really the r...

Re: USAMO w/Ableton not launching/starting consistently when hitting play

I'm experiencing the exact same problem at this moment. The usamo sends midi clock to a midi thru box and then sends clock to my drummachine and mono synth. Behringer rd-808 and a behringer MS-101. I need to press play/stop a couple of times before it syncs correctly with my Ableton drum tracks. Doe...

When does it start? A little bit off, or a full bar off?
A little bit but it's noticable off sync. And it's different everytime. Its very random. With a bit of luck it's in sync on the first press..

USAMO not always in sync when pressing play

My Usamo is setup properly and works like it should, no Jitter, sends midi clock en midi notes without any problems or dropouts. Very Happy with it because i've been struggling with USB midi jitter for a while. There is only 1 problem left. When I press play in Ableton, my hardware is not always in ...

This is gonna be my next module, almost ready to order but I'm still wondering.. why is this module 200 euro's while it holds the functionality's of the E340 cloud generator which is 375 euro's and the e350 morphing terrarium which is 400 euro's... Shouldn't it be more expensive?? just a question. I...

Intellijel Korgasmatron II vs. Polaris, can't choose

Hello, I want to add a new filter to my euroack setup. I came across the Polaris and saw that it had an overdrive circuit. That's perfect for the music that I make (Techno, Industrial). And now while I was looking at modulargrid, I stumbled upon the Korgasmatron, 2 filters and both with also overdri...

Maybe you should return it to the dealer!? #warranty
Just bought the two chips here at a local electronic store for less than 3 euro's.
The module works again. :yay: Also bought a few extra for future repairs.

sorry for bumping an old topic but damnit! Had the same problem just now. Luckely I found this page. I smelled something burning and saw a little bit of smoke coming out of my case. I immediately pulled out the power cord. Came to the conclussion that my Doepfer Wasp filter stopped working. Checked ...

Dear JosefK, i totally feel for you. all mixers are useless to us out of the box. i'm in that same market. there are others like you. don't let anyone fool you. you are not crazy. any aspiring or experienced front of house sound engineer will tell you nobody needs this, because they record bands, a...

I have the 1640i and it's really, really good. Often find it's overkill, but then I remember how amazing it is and suddenly everything's ok. Be happy to answer any questions you have on it. And might be selling it sometime soon, anyway (it's too massive, really!!!) I'd be interested in this mod too...

it's clear, there is a market gap here. How large that gap is unclear. Maybe it's really a request that only techno heads want I guess! Here are the options I am seeing for myself: 1. Get a really nice analog mixer (non-FW/USB) and make sure direct outs are post-fader (these are not that easy to fi...

I read the manual for the MTK the signal is def post gain pre fader, in other words no eq or fader. Unless you want to return it and record the master then you might as well record into a decent interface with multi in. From the recent threads I've been reading I like the look of the A&H ice 16. If...

This is exactly the way I want to work too. Im currently routing everything through my audio interface in Ableton, I'm edititing en tweaking every channel in Ableton (FX,EQ,Compression etc). But I want the hands on, live recording approach an analog mixer offers. Together with the analog warmth and ...

Regarding overdriving the mixer input; Those Soundcraft boards take their use send post gain, but pre eq. Assuming the gain stage distorts in a pleasing manner (not many do, in my experience) you eq tweaks to the recorded signal will not be recorded via the multitrack usb output. IMO eq is pretty e...

I just got the sound craft signature 22 mtk and I absolutely love it. I haven't tried overdriving it yet so can't help there but as far as latency I haven't noticed anything that has bothered me. Seems very much similar to my Motu ultralight and 003. I have not been using much midi from the compute...

Latency is a result of many variables. The interface is one of them. Ableton is another (also the way you record in Ableton, i.e. how you use the monitoring options while tracking). The buffer size matters, as well as the driver error compensation. Also, I would definitely advise against buying a n...

I can't speak for the sound craft mixer, but I had an Allen and Heath zed mixer that was USB, had a ton of latency issue like you ate having, then got a motu 828 FireWire. OMG what a difference! Latency was so short you have to really focus to hear it. I missed having the hands on control though of...

analog mixer multitrack DAW, overdrive channels question!

I currently use an old audio interface with 4 inputs (Native Instruments Audio 4) to multitrack my synths and drummachine to Ableton. Works great but I experience 16ms to 22ms latency sometimes. I use a macbook pro late 2015 model. I am thinking about getting a focusrite saffire pro 40, because I ne...

I love the PAS sound! All of Luke's tracks are amazing. I think there is a lot of Frequentie modulation in his tracks and the processing of the sounds make it unique..
