Re: Instruo Lúbadh stereo looper

How do you make these measurements? I use an oscilloscope to compare input signal vs through or looped signal. And I use precise clock to trigger the loops. It looks like this: http://www.dropbox.com/s/vv6486n5sfhqavx/IMG_3894.mov?dl=0 http://www.dropbox.com/s/xm2q66ce566xzwy/IMG_3895.mov?dl=0 http...

Re: Polyend Anywhere - Users feedback

Yeah, I ordered a new longer one today, copper and gold blablabla, will try out tomorrow. Curious to know how this worked out for you Vacation delay - sorry. The new 1.5m USB cable works fine indeed, worth the 10 euros. It's this one btw: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00P0FO1P0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_...

So - I wasn't able to find this in the skint manual or documentation: can I plug the anywhere to a USB wall plug/charger when I don't feel like using the battery that I installed internally in my case? Yes, as long as the USB charger is powerful enough. Mine isn‘t btw. Thanks for that and sor...

Re: WMD Metron sequencer

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off pattern shuffle ? currently in global menu I can only set 30% as the min amount I'm fairly certain that 50% would be 'off'. Shuffle goes in both directions so 30% would be alternate 8th notes shifted all the way in one direction and 70% would be the no...

Re: polyrhythm/euclidean sequencer with probability

I started to use my beatsteppro more because I can adjust the step lengths and it has accents, two very important features in my opinion. I agree with you about the usefulness. But BSP has accents? Do you mean separate trigger or cv channels used for accents? BSP doesn't have "variable voltage trig...

One thing that is a killer for me when it comes to choose such modules is when they are based on a 16 step sequencer.
None of the Euclidean ones is based on 16 steps, they all allow to set each track‘s length individually.

Re: polyrhythm/euclidean sequencer with probability

btw. anyone here who compared different euclidean rhythm modules (in terms of interface, flexibility, cv-possibilities and parameters)? are they all more or less the same or do you have specific preferences due to special features that other modules dont have? I love Euclidean Circles for the great...

Re: 1010 Music Bitbox - Sampler/Looper

Had the bitbox for a long time but i've vever tried quantizing it with a clock i believe (hmm maybe when i first got it, can't remember).. How does that work again? Does it work in Slice mode or is it for some other mode? Quantizing can happen during recording (if recorded in bitbox) and during pla...

Re: 1010 Music Bitbox - Sampler/Looper

BB is perfect for this. but i can´t comment how precise it is ( if there is a short latency etc. ) From my experience, bitbox has about 8ms of latency monitoring the output/recording versus the input signal which is ok but not great. When you play back a loop it is usually another 4ms off per loop ...

Hi, I am going deeper into the module. Thanks mmonatzeri for copying Wowa's notes. I have a question to there owners. My FM1 on OSC1 has no function. No matter if I leave it unpatched (should get ADSR1 envelope) or patch it from any other CV source and no matter if switched to + or to - I have no e...

Is this normal ?
I‘d say yes. Every time I use my bitbox I also have issues with the volume being too low. It’s probably the quietest module in my whole collection. And yes, it‘s fully digital and without headroom, so you need to play safe. And amplify.

I put a manual switch next to my Metron. With some deterministically evolving seqs like Tuesday you want a reset only once in a while.

Re: 1010 Music Bitbox - Sampler/Looper

Can someone confirm that I can have a large file (3 minutes or something) with slices to make a bunch of loops on a single cell? And how is the sound quality? Confirmed. And the sound quality is good. You have some usual latency, and setting up the loops to adress them with slices will take a bit o...

Re: Cwejman SM-1

I can provide at least a few answers: Does the filter change it's behaviour and sound with res on, or is it just like dialing in a high resonance? Do things change turning the res-knob with res-switch on? Definitely yes to both. SAT switch and RES (Q) knob are two different parameters of that filter...

You mean 3.0.1, I guess. Can't confirm that - triggering samples works fine, as always. So does toggle. No problems at all.

Spend $2000 on a module and half of these users have no idea how to use it. That's true for me as well. I'm enjoying my first Cwejman module, a BLD-2, so much that I bought a SM-1 with no idea how to use it or even what to use it for, to be honest. Wowa doesn't provide a manual (hasn't updated his ...
