I didn't get a mantis because of the lack of a decksaver-ish solution, would probably get one with the cover if it comes out

Something I used a logic module for the other day: Used two manual triggers from Pressure points, where one was toggling a flipflop (intellijel) OR-combined (intellijel spock but you can use whatever) with the other, to produce a CDJ-ish cue/play/pause type interaction, when sent to Pamela's new wor...

Hey peeps. I've been a tracker head for years, and this thing looks wicked. But I'm torn. I've actually grown allergic to using the computer/trackers for music, at least for the composition/happy accident process. Though, I still use trackers for arrangement and final mix. But I feel like the GAS f...

Isn't it only at unity gain though?

Don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds to me you have already made up your mind quite firmly. Then what's the point in asking for thoughts and ideas? Also I want to build a patch that can stay fully patched at all times and just go to a venue, hook up to sound system, and it all just works fr...

Yet metasonix makes tube modules... A proper electric engineer can scale circuits to different power supply levels right? The difference between the behaviour of an analogue circuit on +/-12V versus +/-15V is absolutely none on a broad functional level, certainly not enough to justify a step up vol...

I agree, furthermore... Given the fields of innovation I stated above, what use would people have for them? Most people I hear using morphogene or clouds do not apply them to Curtis roads type granular exploration. Which might be why olivier decided to retire the module. People buy clouds for the co...

sell the TT909 sounds and get a Nava 909? in it's space you could get another analog osc, a delay, and more filters, some VCAs, maths or another EG, Well, I think I have oscillator duties covered by the shapeshifter and the er-301 Delay: ER-301 Filters: Polaris, M8 and ER-301 should be enough? Does it matter? Long answer: I think, what would be more interesting is to explore new areas of innovation in euror...

Actually, the TTA drums will stay no matter what. Nothing compares to proper 909 sounds for techno :sb: I imagine I will, be "playing" them manually. I'm not so much for 909 emulations or samples, it was either the TTA modules or an actual 909. Also, the ER-301 can handle all my sample needs, so I w...

Thoughts on live techno/bass setup

I've been working on collecting and compiling a rack for live use. The 3 4hp modules on the left and right side are actually mounted on the top and bottom using addac mods. Basic setup is this: Pamela clocks everything, din->clk/play runs gatestorm Gatestorm and pamela into drums and er-301 Pressure...

Wouldn't it make more sense to multiply the internal clock and have sub-integer precision? That way various shuffle patterns could be implemented It does multiply internally because the Nerdseq got a much higher resolution internally. However, you can shuffle each pattern and each track up to step ...
