Re: Module which unexpectedly blew you away?
I just built a couple Radio Music units because I could grab pcbs really cheap. Loaded Tom Whitwell's sample library and, oh my, this thing is a lot of fun if you are into sample-based mayhem and/or abstract electronica. I'm sure it can double as a cheap versatile drum module as well.

Re: [Project] Music Thing Radio Music 4hp sample player
I heard from Tom at MusicThing, and according to him other values should be fine, so long as the pots are linear. Please let us know how the 10k pots worked for you. I'm also running out of 50ks... The GitHub says : "Previously it was stated that using 100k pots is ok, but it was found in testing t...

I guess I know why I've had issues with recent builds... Probably not a good idea to source op-amps from Aliexpress

Re: MTM Microphonie - Without Fuse?
Nice to see there are Turkey-based DIY Wigglers. Yes you can use a wire instead (most modules don't use fuses) but don't skip on diodes for reverse power protection. There's not a lot going on with with module so the worst thing you could do is frying the op-amp but it's veeery unlikely to be honest...

Re: temps_utile / 6 x clock generator [build thread etc]
Just a quick note re: the build guide on Github. I'd recommend adding this part from the O&C build guide: " Note that if you do cut the V_USB trace, of course you then won’t be able to upload the firmware unless you power the teensy 3.2 by way of powering up the module." Dumb people like me might ge...

Re: Small Digital Synths, Jan Ostman and Me
Just a couple suggestions :
I think some people (including myself) would be interested in a PCB/kit version of you video synth as well.
If you are not familliar with it, the Shruthi by Mutable intruments is another popular open-source Atmega-based synth.

Re: Another little somthing I've been working on: DR110 inspired 6 voice drum module
Maybe it's because I started working with smd lately (better late than never) but I could see a standalone version on a single pcb with smd components and some extra controls... In any case very nice project, I can't think of a lot of DIY analog drum projects with triggers and separate outs like thi...

Re: 1BIT Multitap Delay by FEEDBACK [UPDATE]
Testing some memory ics which I had laying around for my build.
Everyone of them look noisy/deformed.
See scope shots
Does it mean they are busted or the problem can stem from something else ?

After being away from DIY for a long time, I'm finally done with this build. As far as I can tell, the Frequency pot doesn't seem to have a drastic effect (I used a 10k pot+a 5k resistor as recommended I think) but I'm glad everything works as intended. Thanks to John and everyone else involved in t...

Will follow this ! Those ad633jnz are not cheap, maybe you could consider selling them with pcbs as you can get price breaks when ordered in large quantities. Just my two cents though... Also, will there be an easy way to trigger the four voices from a modular ? That would make a huge difference for...

Got back to work on mine after a long break in DIY. I was expecting a smooth build but it looks like I have a problem with both "POS B" and "FWR B" outputs... It looks like output one of the lower TL07Xs are responsible for these but I'm not sure where to start looking... :hmm: EDIT : I forgot to ad...
