Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

Hi! Have you enabled audio thru levels? I have gate asigned to input 1 and cv input to input 6. I can check later in front of the module and give you more detailed info :tu: Aha! Okay, I went through and turned audio through on for all of them, and that's getting me sound. I see what you are saying...

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

I have tried the cv in note module. Ive had mixed results. Gate triggers where fine, but pitch cv input was hard to control. I need to try the ableton link - clock to modular and see how that goes. How is is it working on your side? Cheers Thanks for the response. So, I am getting absolutely nothin...

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

So how many of you have installed this and are giving it a go? I'm just curious to see if anyone else has tried the CV tools yet? I think that's the most critical element of this on the Terminal Tedium and can't get anything out of the CV Note tool. Just curious if it's something anyone else is noti...

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

changed the tuning property from 8252 to 8072 So it was just offset in pitch , rather than scaled incorrectly? ( that’s a bit surprising ! ) I think so. Because once I hit that value, it was in tune and scaled across multiple octaves. So if that .pdsettings being set to 48k was correct then that's ...

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

This is probably a tuning issue caused by sample rate. Iirc braids assumes 48k SR , anything else will need scaling. ( proportionally). I thought I’d set TT to use 48k but this needs to be double checked, perhaps I somehow missed this - eg when I had to move to running Pd as root. Well, if I am loo...

Re: terminal tedium (raspberry zero, pi2, pi3 codec / pd thing)

So, instead of just asking questions and reporting bugs, I would like to get involved in helping. I'm not a PD expert but I can find my way around enough. All that being said, I think I have found a bug and I'd like to help if possible. In ORAC on a Terminal Tedium, I have noticed that the Brds and ...

So much to explore. One suggestion, maybe add a note to the setup instructions for folks that one thing they ...

So I could use some instruction on flashing a HEX file to my Mutable Yarns (M-Brane). I have the ST-LINK/V2 as well as the micro JTAG adapter, and I'm trying to connect using the ST-LINK Utility by loading the HEX file, and then selecting Program. Is isn't able to connect and I've tried the micro JT...

Update on the above post In Ableton Live on MacOS, the second device comes up with the name "Hemisphere #2" and Ableton can access them independently. If your system isn't doing this, it's likely some issue with the OS or your DAW, and not a problem with the Teensy's USB MIDI implementation. I just...

So when using the USB port on back for class compliant midi device, the unit lists itself as "hemisphere". Is there an easy way to change that per device? I have 3 of these units now, and would love to be able to differentiate (Hemisphere 1, Hemisphere 2, Hemisphere 3 etc...) on my DAW. I'm assuming...

UPDATE: new teensy did not fix the problem. Im starting to suspect a board error. I guess I can try wiring the encoder legs directly to the teensy. So I was having the exact same symptom with my left encoder. It would only turn to the right and if I turned it to the left it would still scroll the c...

I'm pretty excited about this and will definitely be buying one. I just read through the manual and noticed there isn't the usual open source disclaimer on the firmware. I'm not judging on that being good or bad, it is what it is, but wonder if it's because of what happened with all the uBraids etc....

1V/O in on ADC1

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I'm running Automatonism 2 on my Terminal Tedium and I'm trying to figure out how to grab a 1V/O cv on ADC1 (or any of the others) and accurately track a few octaves on an oscillator in Automatonism. I am stuggling to get accurate tracki...

Yes. I had the same problem when I first updated the firmware: From Ben D: In the few rare cases that the sliders have stopped working after firmware update the unit will need to be recalibrated. To do this hold Prob and Delay while turning on your case with sliders 1-8 to moved to the far left and...
